The Sam Howell Thread
It's just a matter of time now, until he's the starting QB.
Heinicke will be benched for bad performance or get hurt with the way he has to play and how bad our line is. I see Howell starting at least one game within the next 4 games (I'm assuming Wentz goes on the IR).

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Preaching to the choir. No reason we shouldn’t be using as much time as possible to see if there is a chance we do not need to use an early , possibly extremely early, pick on a quarterback.
Only two reasons I would never put Howell on the field. We have a quarterback for the foreseeable future already on the team. We are winning with any other quarterback, one who will be here or not we obviously wouldn’t make a change. Neither of the even remotely apply to us. I just don’t understand the thought process at this point. |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I agree. OSU quarterbacks scare me. I like Young and Will Levis and would welcome either one of them over Stroud.

Levis will already be 24 by next season. I'm not sold on him at all. I'd take Stroud or Young over him. But I think Howell can be that dude. I hope he makes it moot.

Watch some of Levis highlight reels. I think he is going to be a star.

Luckily, for all of my faults, pride isn't one of them. If Levis is who we get, I hope I get a plate of Pterodactyl sized crow. Note - I had to Google how to spell Pterodactyl. I thought it started with a T, and that was just the start of how far off I was.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I like Howell he was good in college. Was projected as a first round pick before last season. He has talent and a rocket arm. It’s literally stupid not to play him , they act like TH is going to be a savior for us. Lmao he’s not very good and after we lose to GB because he will not make the throws then hopefully Sam plays week 8

Nope instead we’ll trot out Taylor and lose 3 of the next 4 regardless and then Wentz comes back and we waste more time not using Howell. All because Ron is a fool and doesn’t understand the game anymore Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
I think Heinecke will be fine, he has more weapons than in the past.
