Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
Washington released RB JD McKissic and tendered a qualifying offer to S Jeremy Reaves. Both moves have been expected tho ideally they’d like to sign Reaves to a multi-year deal. Team announced the moves.

Damn, McKissic ditches the Bills to come back to us. Then we cut his ass the next year. The business of football gives zero fucks.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
I know -- it's brutal. But with the injuries he keeps having, you have to wonder how much longer he'll be able to play (if at all).

Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
K
CB RG(Cosmi?) LG LT (leno is a liability) QB-2 TE (can LT return to form? And stay healthy?) S LB These areas still need addressing at starter or depth. A few will be addressed in the draft. Im hoping for a couple day 1-2 on the oline. That is an absolute necessity. LB too. |

McKissic should retire for health purposes. But I absolutely loved him in 2020 and 21 until the injury. Was just super clutch. Real shame about the injuries. |

Agreed. My mocks were definitely 3 deep on the line. Now they are 1-2. With basically a rookie quarterback I really want it cemented over anything else. |

Leno, Gates, Chase, Cosmi, Wylie as the starting 5 with Drafted LT, Drafted G, and Chris Paul as the backups would be an improvement. If Larsen is still eligible for the practice squad, I'd try to bring him back too.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
Sleeper pick at 16 is the best TE in the draft. EB pick

Honestly the sale of the team kinda overshadows every other offseason moves, but IMO so far we're having the best offseason we could realisticly have hoped for. Unexpectedly managed to extend Payne, signed 2 solid Olinemen, brought a vet ILB, and already improved CB depth... With a lot of time left to make some moves before the draft, and the draft, we could have a way more complete that expected roster come July ! Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
I'd be totally fine with drafting a TE in any round. I love Thomas, but he's totally replaceable at this time. And outside of Bates, all the other TE's are "potential" type guys. I think that's an undercover weakness on the roster.

I especially like that we have opened up the draft to go more BPA overall than we might have been able to before getting Wylie and Gates.
