No way was he a big reach. Not even a reach. He was definitely a first round talent. And we need a Corner. He is better than Porter.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

All these dissenters are reminding me of the Jahan Dotson naysayers last year.

I'd put Forbes on a McDonald's diet of hamburgers, french fries, and milk shakes. Then we might have have something special.

Dude feasted on SEC receivers. He is gonna have an absolute time with our d line forcing quick passes. Blitz all day and let him clean up the mess.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

We were 28th in INTs and play mostly zone. Forbes loves INTs and specializes in zone coverage. Based on who was available, I think he's a very solid pick.

EB in the room. Amazing TE’s all there. Oline has holes. They know what they got in Forbes.
Now we need to go OLINE at 47 no matter what.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

Not watching one bit of NCAA and not studying draft prospects, I do say that in all humility, but with the amount of "sure thing baller" 1st round busts, and surprise late rounds studs, I'm always a bit perplexed with the level of certitude some of you guys seem to have regarding these picks.

Once it settles down, the consensus on this board always seems to be "we'll only really know a few years down the road"...

CB in the first round makes sense, it's a need, weight is an interrogation but it's not like the guy was projected to be a 3 round pick either, "let's hope it pans out" is all I can come up with for now.

He is the clear cut starter day 1 opposite Fuller. Wont take more than a few games. Corners are pretty much different in that they are thrown in the fire right away, like a quarterback. They cant blend in, or hide until we find out what they are made of. He will be on an island. And he will be a rock star. Think Carlos Rogers but with hands made of pillows instead of stones.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

Looks like poor Will Levis not going to make it the first round, unless somebody moves up from the 2nd round to the last couple picks.

Mel Kiper's hair gel is going to burst on fire because Levis hasn't been picked.
