Manders vs Broncos pre game

This may come as a shock to some but Chase will be watching from the sideline. Trade this guy now for anything. Literally anything. I’m so sick of talking about him not playing.
I feel like we have more talent than Denver but Payton vs Ron scares me.
Gotta go with my heart though, and we have to win the winnable games!

Sam goes 24/33 for 274 and 3 td’s.

CY sucks, what a bust man but it's time to stop worrying about him.. Luckily we have a damn good DL.

I think its a winnable game for sure but Sam can't be wreckless w the ball this week. Denver is better than AZ

I feel better and better about the team not picking up Chase's 5th year option.

Yeah especially with Sweat balling. This defense does fine without Chase. He is clearly injury prone and even when he has played it hasn’t been worth second overall pick money. Let him be someone elses sideline statue.

Re: Manders vs Broncos pre game

Denver's first game wasn't an impressive outing (loss to division rival at home and scored only 16 points). No sacks on Jimmy G (not known to be elusive), although they did limit the Raiders to 61 yards rushing (Josh Jacobs had only 2.53 yds/carry). On offense, 177 passing yards on 27 receptions (dink and dunk), and not much of a running game. Semajae Perine (remember him?) was Denver's leading receiver. Only 260 total yards of offense.

This is a winnable game -- the Broncos aren't exactly flush with talent. Our D should be better than the Raiders too. Our offense needs to step up, plain and simple. If they do, we have a very good chance to win. If not, it will be a long day and low scoring crapfest. Good teams win winnable games like this one. We'll see if we are.

The worst match up is Payton & Co vs. Our coaches... especially with a vet like Wilson washed up or not.

Of course it will be close and I'm nervous as hell that we will lose. I wasn't impressed with this team last week at all minus squeaking out the letter W

We shall see.

They have some talent. Sutton is a good 2nd WR and young talent at RB. This one is about the scheme and they will scheme guys open all day long vs del Rio... I don't like the match-up at all or the prospect of them dropping two straight home raiders or no raiders.

Re: Manders vs Broncos pre game

This is the definition of a toss-up game. I'd give odds at 51/49, Broncos, just based on playing in Denver.

Re: Manders vs Broncos pre game

EB is used to playing the Broncos twice per year, so maybe that's something.

Chase Young is a bust, he's always gonna be dealing with injuries is the way I see it, so get him outta here and move on.

I would not give up on Chase Young this early in the season. If you feel you must trade him, wait until he returns to action, hope he has a streak of good games and, if he does, trade him then for more value.

Big opportunity to start 2-0. It won't be easy. Whoever wins the turnover battle wins the game.

And I think it's silly to be talking about trading CY at this point. He tore his ACL and missed time. He's not the first one to miss a year due to that injury. It's actually fairly common in this sport. Now has a neck stinger. Again, it's normal to miss some time for that injury. Probably just a couple weeks or they would have put him on the PUP list. He can still come back and wreak havoc. I personally want to see a fully healthy CY added to what we saw on Sunday.
