Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
They need to give Hudson some PT over Barton at this point. It seems impossible that he'd do worse.

Agree 100 percent. Chase Young was supposed to be a generational talent at number 2 overall. Like Watt. I don’t ever recall watching him play and just wreck the other team. Has had some very good games but way too few and far between. Especially with the rest of that line. Bottom line I expected HOF great and so far we have gotten good when healthy. It is a let down for sure. |

He's going to have some game changing plays soon enough, just watch. Anyone still on the JAG talk or even bust is just dumb.

I hope he keeps improving and his game keeps.evolving and gets a real coach and more inventive scheme to work with. Here's to hoping for the best! But I just see sooooooo many other players giving offenses fits and this dude is a ghost 70% of most games. Our expectations were too high b/c #2 overall, then the injury set backs... plenty of excuses can be made but I just don't see the discipline yet to be a well rounded DE.

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
He's played much better this year and seems to be getting better every week. I think people are just down on him because we could have taken a QB that year, and he hasn't lived up to the hype of being a #2 pick, albeit - mostly due to injury. Coaching has probably played a factor too, especially early on, which is likely why they shook up the D-line coaching group, brought in Warren Sapp that year, etc.
Barring injury, I think he's slated for a big year. |

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
The first half of last week Chase for the most part was a no show, against a o-line that may be worse than ours. Played better in the 2nd h but it was too late.
Come out and dominate this week. Absolutely no excuses for this d line not to eat against Ridder. Del Rio should have 50 blitzes in his game plan. Big problem is going to be BJ out of the backfield. He has wr skills and will toast our LB's in coverage. |

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
So, our genius head coach has a new sign on the players locker room door saying "DO YOUR JOB".
A wise man once told me that the 3 most important things in team sports are... 1. Coaching 2. Coaching 3. Coaching Apparently Ron Rivera has never met a wise man.

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
I Think the offense should play well enough again this week to get the W. It'll be close since we never blow anyone out like ever in Rons tenure.

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
Im interested to know if he put similar signs on the coaches office doors, if not he is squarely blaming the players which wont be tolerated for long as they must now know he is gone at seasons end. If stories start coming out of disatisfaction, does it compel Harris to fire Ron?

Re: FALCONS PRE GAME THREAD
What a dumbass sign. He without terrible decision making both as a GM and coach, cast the first stone.
Rivera, if you think you're a remotely competent "GM" or HC:
