Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
We got him with the 26th. Then 4 and 1/2 years of work and turned into a high second round. That is a solid ROI.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
Bears 2nd rounder is definitely more valuable than the Seahawks 2nd rounder

First move of the Harris era, and it’s a good one.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
Don't forget the Giants are eating some salary so the 5th is basically for that.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
The Bears traded a 2nd for Chase Claypool last year.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
They are looking long term. Build the defense like all bears teams but Sweat isn’t going to be worth that 100M they will give him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Snyder made us a dumping ground during his heyday, time some other franchises took over the job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LOL I was thinking the same when posting. Still painfully aware of his atrocities but hopeful we will change.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
Sweat is a very good player. I don't see this as "dumping" him on anybody. He will likely be really good for them. People want to act like he's just some JAG, but he's one of the better defensives ends in the league, and has been for some time.

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
Somebody would give him $100 mil, that’s the market. U think Dak is worth $40 mil/uear? Fuck no!!

Re: Sweat to the bears for a 2nd rounder
Agreed. He's not in with the Parsons/Macks/Watt's, but he's always been a solid pass rusher and playmaker. Wish him the best. Sad to see him go but he's being wasted here under JDR and Ron.
