Packers did way better than anyone imagined. Their coaching staff deserves big props

Packers are my 'way too early' pick to represent the NFC in the SB next year.

Love has certainly earned his place at the qb big boy table. Will always remember him going to Dallas and throttling them in the playoffs. Lafleur's playcalling impressive also. Think GB will be in the mix for awhile.

Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
They seem to have an endless supply of franchise QBs. Favre then Rodgers and now Love. That’s literally 30 years of it. Whereas we…..

Yup mentioned this before. Had bart starr for years. Even Lynn Dickey. Little off in the 80’s but man they seem to always be set at quarterback. |

He even looks uninterested. Just goes through the motions. Unreal. Has one move which is just a bull rush and as soon as he gets stood up he gives up. I don’t think he even knows what a spin move is or he thinks it is illegal. A third for him is such a steal at this point but doesn’t erase the fact that we used the second pick on him. Damn. Not saying I wasn’t on board because obviously i was. Just a total bust. |

I wanted Tua at 2 but wasn’t mad we took CY. Honestly I’m glad we don’t have Tua either. He’s a good QB but not Elite and will never Be Elite Imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think he could be, but ya gotta win in the playoffs to be considered elite. Solidify that defense and hope he never plays in cold weather again. Lol. |

I think he's one of many that come out with insane potential, but doesn't have the kind of drive that truly elite players have (Jordan/Kobe) to be the best at their craft. Ego is too big, too interested in getting the bag/commercials, etc... CY is the only thing that stopped CY from being one of the best defensive players in the league.

Now lets stop and really analyze what every SINGLE one of those QBs have in common. They ALL sat on the bench for multiple years. Favre is the exception in that he sat 1 year at Atlanta and only played the 2nd year with GB b/c Don M. went down with ankle injury). Unfortunately, most of you guys are too impatient for this to every happen. 99.95% of QBs coming into the league simply aren't ready for the speed/complexity of the game in their first year. Throwing them out there will do nothing but stunt their growth. Even history shows this mostly. You think the Skins would have won shit if Gibbs threw a rookie QB into his offense the first year? Fuck no.

Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
If I could pull up all of your posts about Chase back when he was being drafted. All I heard was "generational player" blah blah.. I never bought into any of it simply because he never had the side bend and the motor that the great rushers have had. I remember that Clemson game, which was his last and he was handled by a guy that wasn't drafted. That just stuck w/ me.

I think Green Bay has done an outstanding job w/ their QB's. They don't care if they have a starter that's entrenched. They'll draft someone and won't give a damn if it hurts the starters feelings. |

I think you are underestimating what good coaching does. Not saying it doesn’t help to sit and learn but learn from who? Gibbs may not have had a rookie, but there is a reason Williams, Schroeder, Rypien all thrived under him. Coaching. Also a GM that was able to build a great team around them, of course. Alot of variables that go into success. Hopefully we are on the way to having them! |

Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
Bucs not backing down. People really need to start giving Mayfield props. Still thought Cleveland gave up on him way too early.
