It's clear that Johnson can call a great offense. Give him the players to run what he wants to run and I think it will be uber successful. The jury is still out as to whether or not he can lead. Can he be the leader Adam Peters said they were looking for - without regard to offense or defense...?

I think we are likely to find out.

In non-coaching search news, interesting take from Andrew Brandt about the upcoming Vegas Super Bowl:

@AndrewBrandt
Still amazed we are playing a Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
The NFL fought sports gambling in court for 8 years, with tens of millions in legal fees.
A few years ago wouldn't let Tony Romo and others go to a FF convention in Vegas.
Now staging its pinnacle event in gambling's Mecca.

I'm good with Quinn ! He is the most experienced and best leader left , he has a lot of connections to help with Coordinators . HOWEVER Vrabel was my choice all along and never got interviewed ( not sure what I'm thinking about Peters and the folks running this show.. ) What us interesting is a lot of top football guys are saying Vrabel ..What is the new GM and Ownership afraid of ??

How do we know Vrabel would even want to come here?

Word is he wants some control over personnel, maybe he sees that wouldn't happen here.

It's not as if anyone else was knocking down his door to bring him in.

Or maybe he is the guy and we've just kept everything under wraps. Who knows.

It's definitely crazy to see how far we've come so quickly with legalized gambling.

If I were the Head coach and was gonna be held responsible for the team performance I certainly would want some control over personnel.. isn't that what was going on under Dan .. the head coach was forced to go along with Dan and his cronies.. The coaches didn't want RGIII or Haskins .. I don't blame a coach for wanting some say ..

Having some say into personnel isn't what we're talking about, he wants final say over the roster.

Peters turned down interviewing with the Titans in the past, one would have to assume not wanting to work with Vrabel was part of the reason.

What I can stand is all the highlights of chase young and continued criticism of his lack of effort. The fans and.coaches aren't happy and rumors circulating that its possie he won't start or play much in the Bowl

What a waste pick. And to think we could have drafted Tua or Herbert instead…
