The fact that someone is fighting this and not backing down gives our country a chance to actually survive it.

At minimum, the whole thing should be delayed until everything is actually in place to implement it. They've had three years already, but this debacle was not ready to be rolled out.

If you want a budget passed, blame goes solely on the Senate Democrats and President. They have not passed one since Obama has been President and we're heading into year #6. There's absolutely no excuse, the Democrats held the White House and BOTH houses of Congress for 2 years and still did not pass a budget.

That alone should be an impeachable offense, not performing the most important job duty they're required to do.

Lay off the vacations and parties and do your job, Mr. President and Senator Reid.
Its also funny Obama and company has removed and delayed several parts of this bill so its not like the Rep are asking for anything they have not already done. If they want the ACA then it should be made to start for everyone like planned and no excluding anyone even congress. Why do people think its ok for Obama and the Dems to pick and choose who goes under Obama care?

Re: So... The Government is Shut Down...

Please let's get something straight: if someone thinks that the ACA is a "bad law," that is an opinion.

The ACA is a law. That's a fact. Our whole system is based on such facts. The system is designed to operate lawfully.

Please stop acting like your opinion on the ACA is a fact. It is not.

Fox Falls For Fake Story About Obama Personally Funding Muslim Museum During Shutdown | Blog | Media Matters for America

On October 5, the co-hosts of Fox & Friends Saturday discussed the closure of the World War II Memorial, which resulted from the Republican-led shutdown. During the discussion, co-host Anna Kooiman claimed that while the memorial is closed, "President Obama has offered to pay out of his own pocket for the museum of Muslim culture."

Funny they jump on fox for reporting about the Museum and then they add the highlighted part. The shutdown had nothing to do with the closure of the WW II Memorail and was only done because Whitehouse ordered it to be done. They tried stopping WW II vets who flew out to see the Memorial but they pushed the steel barriers (ones that had to be added to shut down the memorail) and went on anyways.

PLEASE post these polls from a reputable source.

Every poll I have seen shows a split in opinion with the pro-ACA opinion narrowly winning.

And of course there's this, where Americans say that they are for the ACA but against Obamacare. So much for polls in this situation:
