"Crazy Ray" Cowboy Fan dies

Pretty sad, I remember watching him and Cheif Zee going at it in the stands at Dallas that was pretty funny. RIP

He was to the Cowboys what Chief Zee is to the Redskins. RIP.

I mourn the passing of a fellow fan, whose passion eclipsed all but a few. Not only is the Dallas organization diminished, but those of their rivals are as well.

Back in the 80's and early 90's it was fun seeing Ray and the Chief Zee going at it in the stands! All in good fun! RIP Ray and I hope there is football where you are going for you to cheer on!

My prayers go out to both him and his family. He and Zee were so much fun to watch espically when he was younger and first came on the scene. When G. Allen was coach and the real rivalry started with the boys, the two of them were quite a sight to watch.

Unless something has changed, Chief Zee was doing much better and returned to work last month.

Re: "Crazy Ray" Cowboy Fan dies

I met Ray once -about 25 years ago - and shook his hand and told him that he and I would forever disagree about the "wonderfulness" of the Dallas Cowboys. He was not a bad person in any way.

I hope he rests in peace and that his family can deal with the grief associated with his passing.
