Re: Guice out for season

To me it really depends on who is available...with so many coaching changes, there could be young RBs who have fallen out of favor with new schemes or systems.

Say if Jordan Howard was available...that is someone who would improve the roster. This would be a rare add...maybe a tevin Coleman in Atlanta. outside of these quality guys I wouldn’t make a move.

Re: Guice out for season

I voted trade but I really don't care how we get one. Just get one. We're more than fine at the 3rd Down Back position but I do not trust Kelley and or Perine to get the job done on 1st and 2nd downs. Kelley has crappy instincts and he can't even find gaping holes to run through and Perine is bound to fumble and be benched or cut.

Injuries are setting in now. We are a 7-9 team with Kelley and Perine getting the ball 25 times a game.

We can’t count on CT to play 16 games.
They need to make a move.

Re: Guice out for season

I'd say we're a 7-9 team if the OL suffers a lot of injuries.

Regarding a trade the question is how high of a pick is worth giving up for basically a one year rental?

This injury has me all effed up man. I'm 35, I got 21 year old drunk last night. That's a rarity nowadays. Woke up this morning with my TV and bedroom light on. Being a Skins fan man, few man bases have it worse.

Re: Guice out for season

In baseball they have all these new stats to try to calculate how many wins each guy creates. Not sure they have anything similar in football, but not having Guice is gonna lose us at least 1 game. In a 16 game season, that's huge. Ughhhh!!!!!

The Oline and half the defense. You're right on the money.

We were literally the most injured team last year and were 7-9.

It doesn't have to be a one year rental depending on the player's contract. Also, having several good backs is a good thing so he wouldn't be excess baggage once Guice returns. Of course, I'm making the rash assumption that the player we trade for will become our new starting RB.

The trade doesn't have to be for draft picks either because we now have more depth and we won't be able to keep all of our good players. Another team might go for a trade of a RB to us for one of our players who plays another position.

Agreed. We now seem to have really good depth at WR and DB, might be able to get value from it.

There is still a month left before GM1, plenty of time to bring in a guy and get him ready. It’s on Jay if we are near the bottom in rushing again.

We have to run the ball better this year to win. Bottomline

OK, I read what Jay said and I don't believe him. That has got to be coachspeak, right? Right?

Jay should reach out to Mike Shanahan and ask for advice.

In all seriousness, why wouldn't he, they could always run the ball.

Yeah - it isn’t good. You know it isn’t good when cowboys fans are sympathetic.
