Interesting... I don't agree, we lost twice to Dallas as painful as it sounds.

I agree with Bart, Skins are the best team in the East. Redskins beat themselves twice against the Cowboys

Re: Around the NFL week 13

If we played them Sunday on a neutral field we would win. Comfortably.

Maybe we'd win, if we played on a neutral field on Mars, with no crowd noise and blind refs with seeing eye dogs.

Honestly there's no point in talking about scenarios where we'd win. We lost to them twice, thats just facts. They were the better team both days. If we get lucky we might have the opportunity to see them a third time this year and get some revenge.

Don't let your homerism get in the way of common sense. The Cowboys are 10-1, having won ten straight games. The way to prove who is the better team is on the field where they have beaten us twice. They are the best team in our division.

So a short week with travel time after a night game is minor details?

So Dallas is better for sure. You think if we play them fully rested in the playoffs again we got no chance? We were two missed fg's from beating them after getting screwed by the schedule. I do not think it is homerism, I think it is reading between the lines.

Re: Around the NFL week 13

The truth is, the short turnaround most definitely played a factor in the game. You're talking about a team that played in a late Sunday night game - which ended around midnight, and then had to turn around and fly out to Dallas on Wednesday. They usually don't practice on Monday, especially after a late night win, so you're looking at Tuesday being the only day they had for walk-throughs. No time to game plan, no time to heal up from the previous game. It most definitely affected the Redskins.

The NFL dropped the ball on this one. But anyway, what's done is done.

Re: Around the NFL week 13

I hate to say it but Dallas is the better team because they don't defeat themselves. We have the higher ceiling but in every loss this year except against the steelers we have shot ourselves in the foot. Watching Dallas they aren't doing that at all.

Hopefully we stop the self inflicted losses.

We only lost 3 other games. we clearly weren't the same team first couple of weeks we are now. We lost to Detroit in Detroit who is a good team. We got screwed by the schedule makers against Dallas the second time. Imo we only have one self inflicted loss. Week 2.

Yeah, Gruden said they tried to install some Dallas game plan during the bye .. 3 weeks before the Dallas game and before we played the Vikings and Packers.

While I hated the short turn around, Dallas beat us twice and without our defense showing me that they are capable of stopping the Dallas offense, Dallas is the better team. Dallas scoring drives last game were long consecutive drives.

Go Boys tonight though! Really need a vikings loss.

I was including the Cinci tie in the self inflicted category, as both losses to Dallas were (I consider our red zone woes in the second game to be self inflicted not anything Dallas did on defense). There is no doubt in my mind that if we play to our ceiling we beat Dallas every time, but we have only played one game, the Packers, to our ceiling. Dallas is currently playing every game to my concept of their ceiling. If we get everything rolling, like we can, then when we face Dallas again, we will be the better team.

I was being a stickler about Cincy. Lol. Most teams rarely play to their ceiling. Dallas has plenty of close wins. They are not rolling people. Not sure why you consider our close wins different than theirs in the way of playing to your full potential? Other than that u watch our games and not theirs.
