Re: Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
The buzz on Garret Wilson is growing.
CBS mock draft guy Ryan Wilson was on Grant and Danny and spoke real high of Wilson, comparing him to OBJ. Funny enough his most recent mock has Garret Wilson going to your Washington Commanders at 11. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/...hers-dominate/ WR is a premium position and if we can ink a premium player for 5 years at an affordable rate vs paying Amari Cooper 25M per year ... this is a good pick. If we dont believe in any of the QBS, Id have no problem with a Garrett Wilson or Devin Lloyd. |

QB, LB, WR, G are the positions we need to absolutely hit on one way or another this offseason.

Gonna be harder to hit on qb if we go bpa at 11. Maybe we still sign a vet. Im leaning towards Winston and using our picks to fill those other three areas. I think mlb is probably the most important outside QB. Would love to get a stud mlb at 11. Devin Lloyd outta Utah seems to be a tight end killer. Last edited by punch it in; 03-07-2022 at 11:13 AM. |

I’d be great if Ridder were there at 42 but I tend to doubt it. I’m not sure why folks aren’t higher on him. The reports have been strong particularly as it relates to decision making. He’s the qb in the draft I’m most intrigued by. And he definitely elevated the team around him, won consistently, and showed great athleticism. Does he have the cannon Willis has? No. But there are lots of QBs with great arms that can’t hack it (not saying Willis won’t, but the league is riddled with examples). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I could drink beer and do mock draft simulations all day if I was not forced to go work for the man.

I take Cine in almost every mock draft i do, but usually he is gone in earlier than 73. We get him at 73 that would be absolute highway robbery. Ridder could be there at 42, he did have a strong combine. So maybe not. Typically i go with Willis, or Devin Lloyd the LB outta Utah with 11. Edit : that is actually probably right for Cine. Re: Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Well, for those of you who want to draft a quarterback at number 11, this Russell Wilson news should be music to your ears.

Re: Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Yeah, but we'll probably need to trade up if we really want a guy. Seattle is now at #9 and they may draft a QB.

Probably going to have to try to trade into the #4 spot to guarantee we get our guy, if we truly love someone in this class. |

Re: Official 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Trading up and surrendering more assets to obtain a QB who is probably questionable as an NHL QB is just crazy. Now if it was Bryce Young of CJ Stroud, Ok I am in. But not for the group that is available this year. And, yes, I am assuming Seattle would take Willis since they already have an offense that is kind of designed for his skill set.
