Re: Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
The glass half full guy says that seeing top quality coaches develop here should offset some of the negatives around this team when they do a coach search.
Now if they all bash the skins when candidates ask that half full glass goes back to empty. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Who will be the next coach of the Redskins and does it even freakin matter?
With the performance of the team now I don’t see how you can hire from within the organization. The only guy who might eventually be an NFL-quality HC is O’Connell. But O’Connell was over-ridden by Gruden for play-calling and the same thing has happened with Callahan. I can’t tell how much the offensive plays are actually called freely by O’Connell. At least it appears the Uber-predictable trait to run on first down has lessened. Why not run more play-option? Until O’Connell is given a free rein no one knows whether he is a good OC and held down by Gruden and Callahan. OR if he is mediocre as our offense seems.
If Bruce Allen stays at GM, NO NFL-QUALITY OC, DC or HC will come here. He’s too much an anchor on this team. Too many have tried to work under him and failed miserably. I wonder if Snyder will finally bow to the pressure to dump Bruce Allen and get a top end OC. I just don’t think Snyder has the imagination to try a Defensive Coordinator as HC. He’ll hire an OC to try to coach-up Haskins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The only qualification for a HC candidate under BA is that he once coached in Tampa Bay. Bruce only recruits coaches who come from the legendary Tampa Bay dynasty.

Gibbs just won another Championship in Nascar...we should start a letter campaign or something to get Gibbs to buy into the team to give him a say so on running things.
Gibbs ability to organize a sound structure and then find great people to run it...he is beyond proven. He did it in Football and then broke into Nascar and did it from the ground up. Give him ownership interest and make him President of the Team. Don't wake me up...let me dream
