I don't like the sound of that at all. I'm hoping we are satisfied with C. Griffin and the holdovers from last year at D tackle....

as much as i love the redskins,if they sign sapp i honestly do not know if i can pull for them till he leaves.i'm sorry but he knows nothing about being a redskin and is a completely dirty player.he may be a great nfl player, but he is a lowlife as a human being.

Ugggh. Do we even have the cap space left to do a deal with Sapp, even if we wanted to (which I hope we don't)?

I'm surprised MJ even wanted to step back inside MCI Center. Anyway, as I understand it not much should be read into this. Sapp is part of Jordan's shoe company and they were in town to promote the Jordan Capital Classic

Thumbs up

jordan did it for one reason only, the fans.i have heard a whole lot of folks say
over the years that jordan is a total and complete a$$hole to work with.i shook his hand once at duke and he was nice to me though.i hope sapp is out of dc now though.maybe he and terrel owens can go sailing and end up lost at sea.

Good info Smootsmack. I think we can all calm down now. He was in town for something else. But as for the cap question, someone said in earlier posts that we can cut the following and save the following off this year's cap- Larry Moore (1.2 million), Trung Canidate (900k) and Byron Chamberlain ($660k). If we did that, it would free up another $2.5 mill or so, enough money to sign our #5 pick.....
