Not a lot of surprise...kinda cool they list the 3 WR starters. Notable: Vernon Davis over Paul...Spencer long over Lauvao...foster over Riley...bruton ss starter...

Got a feeling Chris Thompson as 2nd RB is in danger. And I also imagine Josh doctson will take Maurice Harris spot behind djax.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised Lavao isn't the starter at LG, I felt we missed him last year after his injury.

Also... God our secondary's exciting! I'm really looking forward to see Toler in the mix !

Re: First unofficial depth chart is out

Most starting spots set, but Redskins still figuring out four areas - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN

Good read.

1. I like that Lauvao is healthy enough to be competing for Guard...he is our best Run blocking Olineman. Im a little surprised Kujo isn't more of a factor
2. Like Lauvao, Im really excited Kendall Fuller is healthy enough to be competing as well. No surprise Fuller knowledge of the game is high...Va Tech coached, they put out top notch secondary prospects.
3. Stephen Paea continues to disappoint...they paid him to start and ball out on that D-line.

Im really surprised nothing was mentioned about the Running back competition...here in Richmond been a lot of news of how Matt Jones is clearly the starter but after that is wide open. Marshall, Thompson, Brown and watch this dude: Robert Kelly...have all looked really good at times. Lotta folks have talked up Marshall and Kelly so far in camp.

Shawn Lauvao

What a fucking waste of money. This is probably Ryan Grant's last hoorah too.

Grant has been quietly having a good camp.

He was garbage filling in for desean jax last year. To me, I'd rather keep a Maurice Harris over grant

RB has to be our weakest group. I think we'll need to pick up a veteran backup for Matt Jones. Also, Thompson is not the answer as a 3rd Down back, IMO. As for the rookies looking good in training camp, well, I've heard this before in many training camps and I've learned that it doesn't mean anything.

My RB depth chart would look like this:

1. Matt Jones
2. Not Yet on Roster (Jones backup)
3. Not yet on Roster (3rd Down back)
4. Thompson (he's a legitimate pro player and a veteran who knows the system)
5. Marshall (based primarily on his good size and great speed)

Marshall is having a solid camp, can't wait to see him in games. I think he wins a roster spot.

Watch: Keith Marshall with incredible one-handed catch
