The dline and front 7, really there is nothing that can be done. Mostly those are guys that other teams didn't want. Would Goldston be on most NFL teams? No! Would our two ILB be starting on most teams? No. Also Kerrigan was getting killed on run plays,
I think we need to put 5 on the Dline LOS every snap and bring up Bruton/Cravens in the box on 1st and 2nd if no 3-4 wide sets. Mix those looks up and keep'm guessin.

I'm confident we can stop the pass. Hell, I think we make Prescott look bad personally. Just HAVE TO STOP THE RUN. It will make me shed a tear to see Alfred Morris doing his TD celebration.

Barry won't do that. That means he'd have to adjust and be creative. He's not capable of that.

I don't know if we have the bodies capable of doing what he wants.....

Reyes looks like a free agent bust...Golsen is a rotational at best player...Paea, ugh what a effing waste. Matt Innionadis was over his head and on the PS.

DLine has to become a priority in the offseason.

Did anyone see Snacks Harrison for the Giants vs Dallas game??????? MOTHERFUCKER....that is the guy we needed in the middle!!! He was destroying the Dallas Oline. He was throwing that turd center Federick and the guard Martin around like rag dolls. I saw him laughing while doing it on a replay!!! damn it...and what a great nickname!!! fuck

Re: Skins vs. Steelers Positives and Negatives

Our Dline got manhandled by the huge Steelers OL. Paul Bunyan at LT weighing in at 345 and 6'9", Foster looked he weighed 400lbs, DeCastro, Pouncey.

We lack talent on the DL regardless of scheme. But having the hypothetical choice between playing 1-gap or 2-gap on this team I would go with 1-gap.
Other then Baker (who btw doesn't like 2-gap) which of our DL are capable of playing 2-gap?

At least with 1-gap our blind squirrel DL might stumble into a pressure or a stop.

So my question is why do we have such a steadfast desire to stick with a one gap scheme?
Because Joe Barry is the DC and he's a 1-gap coach. But, again the 1-gap vs 2-gap isn't as big of an issue as the lack of talent.
