Maybe it was just the ESPN clip they put together, it was mostly shots of him breaking tackles, making cuts and hitting the hole hard. Gave me the impression he plays heavier than 220.

Re: Antonio Gibson

Good friend of mine was on the Memphis staff, he can't say better things about this kid. Apparently he's a workout warrior and a true team player.. He will do whatever it takes to help the team.. That's the kind of attitude this new regime brings!! HTTR

Here is a highlight tape, I see him breaking tackles but I also see him running away from people as well.

Re: Antonio Gibson

This was a luxury pick. But BPA can look like like luxury, because it doesn't give a shit about the current depth chart. He is another weapon.

The WR and RB numbers are gonna be interesting. We can't fit all of these guys onto the roster.

Predictions:

RB: AP, Guice, McKissic
WR: McLaurin, Gandy-Golden, Sims Jr., Harmon, Latimer
Combo: Gibson

Doesn't leave any room for Barber who we just signed or Love. I mean if Love isn't ready for training camp, I'll just assume he's never playing for us. I don't see anyone that is either someone we can trade or someone that holds much trade value.

Really? You are leaving Love out? He’ll be more than ready.

Antonio Gibson is an elite athlete on anyone's standard. At 230 pounds he's fast lighting, elusive, strong, and powerful. He averages nearly 20 yards per catch, 11 yards per carry, and a td every seven touches. What is more impressive than that is the fact that he breaks a tackle on 48% of carries. Due to his versatility he's going to be a match up nightmare. He needs to work on his blocking and route running. Even a slight improvement in those areas makes him extremely dangerous. I really love this pick.

Gibson’s build reminds me of the Titans AJ Brown

Nothing I've heard said he's even available to play. I mentioned him. But I assume McKissic was signed to be our 3rd down back and Gibson is RB 3.5/4. Where does Love fit?

You would be crazy to cut Love and keep McKissick. Go to 17:05 on the video below, he’s ready.

Love is way too talented to simply cut him. If we can get him back at 70% of what he was before the injury he'll easily be one of the more explosive backs in the league.

Re: Antonio Gibson

With Guice being made of glass and AD at age 36 or whatever he is, I'd be surprised if Love was cut if he's healthy

Honestly it sounds like Love isn't healthy. We're at least a year and a half since he got injured and Rivera is talking like he's still on a day to day rehab. That's not good.

Thanks for linking the highlights.

I gotta say -- to have a RB with those WR skills/speed/hands, that's gonna come in handy.

Big if though

He needs to be 110% or he’s probably gone

RR isn’t fucking around with the RB position
