Re: 2019 mlb

Idk if the Nats have that 2018 Caps feel yet, although they've certainly made it seem like it up until today. But I tell ya, it really takes the sting out of the Redskins being such a huge bag of suck that I have the Nats and Caps to fall back on.

Re: 2019 mlb

Why after every pitch, does Soto slide up in the batters box, grab his junk, and mug the pitcher down?

A. It's just really weird; and B. It's annoying as fuck!! What is his problem?

For a team that hit a season record of homers I was hoping the twins would muster a bigger offense against the evil empire

Haters gonna hate...
If we finish off Minnesota Im beginning to believe we have a chance against Houston. Our lineup doesn’t stop. If Paxton, Tanaka, and Severino are at their best we can beat em.

Re: 2019 mlb

Yessir. I hate the yankers with the best of them. As an Orioles fan I root for the Orioles first and root against the Sox and Yankees next. Since it is October and I will have to wait a decade to root for the O’s in the playoffs I will do the next best thing. If I can watch the Yankees in the World Series and root against them I will be pretty happy. As long as they don’t win.

In reality you know the adage good pitching will beat great hitting. I think you are seeing that in the N.Y.-twins series

I think greater hitting is beating great hitting actually in this Twins series. That adage about pitching is what scares me against the Astros though. If you want the Yanks to lose you better pray its in the ALCS because whoever wins that wins it all.

First manager trying to go all the way while at the same time minimizing how often his bullpen comes into the game.

It was fun while it lasted but the Dodgers have gotta know it doesn't matter who the Nats trot out tonight, they're just gonna try to run up the pitch count to force the pen to come in early.

Even if by some miracle we advance, you can't run with the big dogs while the only guys you trust in your bullpen are Doolittle and Hudson. Everybody else is junk. And Corbin/Scherzer are needed to make starts, not pitch relief on 2 days rest.

He's gonna throw the kitchen sink tonight just to stay alive. Even if they extend the season using all your pawns at once is gonna hurt us later.

That 7th inning by sherzer is the stuff of legends. Wow. If the Nats hold on this performance will be remembered for a long time

For one night everything went according to plan. If nothing else the season lives on.

Our 3-7 hitters blew it again. Freeman in particular is fucking up my universe.

The tying run they got was on a BS broken bat double and then BS bloop that barely glanced of Frreemans glove. Lucky bullshit break the Cardinals always seem to get.

The bullpen started in the 4th and only gave up 2 runs, including above. They did their jobs.
