I'm talking in regards to titles in comparison to the rest of the league, not how they got there.

I would love the Nats to bring a title to DC so we can point and laugh at Dannyboy.

Don't need a title for that. Already doing it

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Ted Leonsis already did that in 2018 after winning the Stanley Cup! If the Nats can win two more games, Ted Lerner and do the same.

Hummm...maybe if Danny can somehow be forced out, he can be replaced with another Ted and maybe the Redskins will win again

Well, this series is a long way from over but it looks like all we did is piss off Goliath. Best of 3 after tonight, assuming an unthinkable comeback isn't in the works.

That sure went upside down. Amazing how the road team is 4-0, maybe the Nats need to get back to Houston.

Hope so. The best we can hope for now is a 6 game win, but the momentum has definitely shifted back to their side. Hoping we get things back on track tonight or tomorrow if tonight is rained out.

Washington completely blew their chances by not winning last night. Poor job by corbin and the bats.

How you beat Cole and verlander and then lose to a poorly pitching Greinke and a nobody pitcher last night?

Wave bye to the series, you blew it nats

I can only hope you aren't as premature with your lady as you are with this series.

It's a best of 3 now, far from over.

Re: 2019 mlb

The two bright spots from tonight's game: titties (NSFW) and Trump's reception (love how they led with the veterans to get cheers from the crowd).

If anybody cares to get into how classless it is to boo a president at the WS, let's take that convo over to the politics forum.

Re: 2019 mlb

If you're a politician and you feel the need to have your presence announced at a sporting event, you deserve to get boo'd.

Those were 4 bright spots behind the plate.

In regards to the actual series, sports are just weird. Looks like Astros are going to go from down 0-2, to winning the series 4-2.

Re: 2019 mlb

I just hate how we went from a position of strength to now...you had to get at least one at home. The bats only scoring 3 runs in 3 games, its just frustrating.

I do feel confident with Strasburg Tuesday...I dunno why, but I feel we can take the game...Gotta at least put 3 on the board.

If there was anybody I'd want on the mound for this game, it's Stras. We'll see how it goes but it's an uphill battle from here.

I completely agree with you!

If somehow the Nats can win tonight...maybe they will be able to have Max on the mound for Wednesday.

That is the ONLY path I can see for the Nats to win the WS.

But, of course, the Big issue is that the Nats need to get key hits when they have men on base, and they need to Drive In Runs!

Gotta get tonight...can’t focus on nothing else. I think the bats rebound as well
