The team comes out slow under Rivera. Kick the ball off, long TD drive. We get it, 3 and out.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread

Washington has allowed a score on an NFL-high 59% of opponent drives through Week 3.

You would get respect here if you showed up at times when WFT doesn't take the L.

On pace to set a record - allowing 17 opening drive td's to 17 different teams this season.

If JDR doesn't adjust his methods of teaching and gameplanning Ron seriously needs to consider sacking him at some point this year.

I would get rid of him now.

We don’t play 17 different teams this year

I thought next years QB class was the weakest in a couple of decades?

I am sure it is; it’s our luck completely

Excellent point.

Let me rephrase that.

On pace to allow 17 touchdowns on 17 opening drives this year.

Feel better?

We will not win 5 games …very sad. This team is imploding and I see it getting worse .

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread

Positives? There aren't a lot, but there are some:

We're not the Giants (or 0-3).
There's 14 games left.
Undefeated vs the NFC/NFC East.
No injuries (that I'm aware of).

The obvious: It was a dreadful showing for the defense. The piss poor defense made Heinicke feel like he had to do it all. He forced things way too much. I can't fault him though - he's trying, and his receivers didn't help him much today.

Honestly, the way he plays he's going to be good for at least one, maybe two turnovers per game. Dude plays with his hair on fire, and I don't think he sees the whole field through the smoke. He's going to make some real good plays, and there's going to be head scratchers. He needs experience, and a defense that can stop the opponent from scoring on every drive.

I'm not ready to blow it all up like some are though. Everything wrong right now is fixable. Two losses to arguably the two best teams in the AFC right now is not the end of the world. Long way to go yet, and plenty of time to right the ship.

Let's see how they respond next week against the Falcons. That will tell us more about this team than what we saw today.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread

Sorry guys. I'm trying not to do it. But I don't think I can...

TOLD YALL LAST WEEK !

Seriously though, the doom and gloom after a loss may have looked bad, but this is what I felt this team was.
Managed to pull myself into some sort of hope before KO. But this defense is awful. I want no caviat added to it. They suck.

We might not get another W this year. 4 and 13 is my updated prediction.

I'm not sure this is a positive for our mental health...
