Re: WaPo's Jason Reid rips Mike Shanahan
Sports writers are the bottom of the barrel, with a few notable exceptions like Mitch Albom, Wilburn, Korny, etc, but for the most part they are just lame. Some of the veteran mods and just lay posters in here could out write FOX Sports.com guys any day of the week. If he wanted to be critical and somewhat original(going out on a limb I mean), he could have done a re analysis of our draft, but even that would have been lame, since we did pretty well with addressing needs. I just hope Kerrigan can make the adjustment to LB like Orakpo did.

Re: WaPo's Jason Reid rips Mike Shanahan
Some of JLC's worst habits are starting to rub off on Reid. I don't mind him being critical, certainly better then the Larry Michael types, but more and more of the pieces lately sound vindictive. If this was like the third or fourth straight year under Shanahan and Allen with no playoff appearances then fine, but we've only had one year under Shanahan and it was spent trying to clean up the mess left by the second least competent GM from the past decade.
