Wow. What a Monday morning. Im not used to feeling so good heading back to work.
After a night to digest what I saw Im thinking a couple of things...
First JDR is a ferocious animal and his scheming won the game for us without a shadow of a doubt. We had no run game, one wr, and an inaccurate quarterback but scored 27 points. Why? Because our defense put us in position to score.
Secondly that our offense has to be able to move the ball the length of the field. Otherwise this game will be a great memory clouded by another season of shit Monday mornings.
So HTTFT today, but Haskins better hone his skills fast, and some other playmakers besides McLaurin better step the fuck up.
The first half was what I expected only worse, and the second half was what I hoped for but only better. My emotions are shot. Lol.
