Re: Around the NFL - Week 12

Case is a mid level QB, he will never lead a team anywhere unless its a loaded roster like last season.

As for Arod, they just seem off this yr and maybe it's due to him getting older. I think McCarthy is fired for sure.

I'd go far as to say that Gurley is their MVP. Over 1,000 yards rushing through 12 weeks and 17 TDs.

This is a QB league, its that simple. Yes u can make the playoffs with an avg QB and good defense but generally u have to have a top QB to get far. Last yr Philly got hot and made a run with Foles but that was mainly Frank Reich's system. That dude is a genius with QB's.

Gurley is the MVP, the most overlooked player in the game imo. He allows Goff to have time in the pocket and great coverage to throw against. Goff is good, but no Gurley, his numbers aren't close to this.

In the salary cap era none of the teams who won mostly because of defense stayed relevant for very long, only teams with elite Qbs have had long runs of being top contenders.

Yep like I was saying last week,

PITT
NE
GB
NO

All have stayed relevant due to QB play.

That is what it boils down to.

Re: Around the NFL - Week 12

So did the NFL issue another apology to us for the Reed hit or fine the Dallas player or did they just give us a big F U and not even acknowledge it?
