Reading mock drafts, phrases like "once in a decade" player are thrown around quite often. Go get the fucking stud. Keep it nice and simple.

Second coming of Sean Taylor in a different position

This is clownish. Every one of these will be wrong.

I don't know that I've ever seen a prediction I so vehemently disagree with. Where did JLC go to school, the Florio school of inane bullshit?

Because you clicked on it and reacted by sharing it, thus driving more clicks to his shit.

He doesn't have to be right, he just needs to get eyeballs.

this

its the typical media game these days...outlandish, fake, and the dumbest gets voted to the top.

They seriously don't believe a third of what they say...

Like ST did, having an elite player does more than just lift the players around that guy, it lifts the whole team, if not the organisation. Just look at what JJ Watt has done for the Texans. There's a belief there even if O'Brien may not be getting the best out of them.

When was the last time we had a true elite body on the field? I'm tempted to say it was ST and he died 12 years ago!

I agree with him at #2 pick because if we do this right he could have a massive impact on the franchise for at least 3-4 years. Imagine he turns into the new LT? The havoc he wrought in the NYC East...

You have a guy who is a possible generational talent you take him and don't over think this.

Re: QB or BPA for our #1 Draft Pick - 2020

Unless the Dolphins offer an awesome kings ransom, like a two firsts and a second and a first in 2021. Something like that might be hard to turn down.

But even then you’ve got to accept the fact that the Giants might get Chase and then you’ve got to face him for the next decade.

Re: QB or BPA for our #1 Draft Pick - 2020

If we got 5 and 18 for #2 I would not be mad at making that move but I don't see that happening, Tua will not go to NY OR DET so the Phins are fine at #5

Re: QB or BPA for our #1 Draft Pick - 2020

If the Dolphins offer two firsts for our #2 you could draft:

I. Simmons - LB
Maybe Andrew Thomas - OT, although he probably would be gone. Still the best OT available

Second round - TE or WR. WR pool is deep

Then have another first in 2021.

Getting Simmons eases the pain of losing Chase Young. That and an elite OT, helps rebuild the OL (replace Moses)

Yeah, but the phins don’t know if someone else will try to trade the store to move up to #2 or #3 to get Tua or Herbert. The Dolphins have the picks to guarantee they get Tua and their GM just said so. If they sat on their excess picks and got outmaneuvered for Tua, they’d feel like fools.

Still, I agree. The Dolphins will probably trade for the #3 pick since it will go Cinc-Burrows and Redskins- Young. I think only Miami has the high enough trade picks to get our #2.

With the Miami #5 pick we could get Isaiah Simmons- who is elite at a position of need (LB). The #18 gets us an excellent OT to replace Trent Williams or Moses.
