Think Jack Del Rio is leaving?

You guys think Jack Del Rio will be gone? I think he will get another shot. Add that on top with other coaches, and possibly Kyle Smith. Should be interesting.

I doubt Del Rio will leave this defense. Maybe if they win it all next year, but he is building something and to leave after one year, I don't see it.

Just curious are you friends with SolidSnake84?

I don’t see him leaving...I think his HC career is over...the guy is just a better coordinator and in a way he serves as an assistant HC to Rivera. They seem to be work well together

You know how the bad teams will do anything to get whoever is hot at the moment. Have to wait and see. I saw this asked on twitter, and I think fans like how Jack is coaching and don't want to face this as a possibility.

I think the hot trend in coaching still favors the up and coming younger guys. At this point we know what JDR is, very good DC, so so HC.

I don't see it happening after this year. If they end up winning the Super Bowl at some point while he is here, and the defense is the main reason, then maybe. But not in 2021.

I'm hoping JDR will be our Romeo Crennel - great DC, mediocre HC. Time will tell. But you would think after 2 failed stints as a HC he's happy where he's at.

JDR would have to be a damned foolio to leave this defense. This is turning into the dream NFL job for any DC. We could get the best candidate to replace him if it did come to that.

I think Jack will stay until this defense gets into the Top 5 AND the team plays in the SB. He’s been unsuccessful as a HC, and maybe he’ll be happy just to bring a defense from the bottom-feeding depths to make it into an elite squad!
