From Baltimore Sports Radio
I was driving up north earlier today and heard on one of the Balt sports stations that the Lions are talking with Dana Stubblefield and potentially want to sign him. Imagine if that happens. Stubby will be playing next to Dan Wilkenson on the Lions' DL.
Here in DC, we know that doesn't work! |

Yeah they're talking about him backing up Wilkinson and Shaun Rogers. Lions are supposedly also talking to Stephen Alexander

That's about all he's good for...a backup. Man, did he take the money and run or what?

Big Daddy and Stubby together again, how sweet.
How much of a flop were those guys together! You have to laugh about it to keep from crying. |

After his MVP season (in which he was dominant), he absolutely disappeared as a player. Wonder how much he wants?

What a disappointment Wilkison was. I really thought he would be something great for the Skins. I was looking over his stats and saw that he had an 88 yard INT return for a TD in '99. I must have missed that one. I wouldn't even have thought he could run that far. How long did the play take anyway? You could time that run with a sundial.

He did not even run. That would of been to much work for him. Isnt he the on that hurt his knee in his home or was that Wilkerson? I rembember getting them both that year that was going to be the beginning of something great after a few loosing seasons. That was the start allright. Or was it just the continuance of many losing seasons to follow. Welcome home Coach Gibbs.

Yeah that int return was against the Bears, I think they broke for commercial and came back and he was still running.

Speaking of Wilkenson, yesterday on my Redskins desktop calendar, the "Redskins fact" was that in 1998, we traded a 1st and a 3rd rounder for him. That got me thinking that everyone complains about Snyder/Cerrato for trading away draft picks so much, but it was also done before they came around....
