Re: Looking at the draft.
Ioannidis is the reason I wouldn't mind the team taking Vea.

Re: Looking at the draft.
When Allen and Foster went down last yr, it killed us. We were pretty damn good along the front 7 until that happened. That's y I'm looking at value and adding picks, we drop back a few spots and draft Hurst or Payne at around 20 ish or later and pick up a 2nd.. That to me would be amazing.

Re: Looking at the draft.
And Kendall Fuller is the reason I wouldn't mind the Skins taking Minkah if he falls. Orlando Scandrick my ass, you can never have too many corners.
But if we get Vea I think I'd be OK with that too.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Scandrick was really good 2 years ago, this last season he was nicked up.

Re: Looking at the draft.
I really think we are in a very good position in the draft either to catch a falling star like Allen last year, or trade down to the 18-22 spot and pick up an extra pick. There are several possibilities and combinations of picks any number of which can set us right.
With that in mind, this draft will mainly be bad IF they for some reason go with a WR in the first, trade all the way out of the first a la Vinnie, or take Hurst when Payne or Vea are available. |

Re: Looking at the draft.
Yep either way we are in a good spot. I don't see any chance we go WR in the 1st unless we trade down to like 27 or so

Also, with the lack of Free agent talent at Tackle and WR I fully expect the top prospects at both those positions to get chosen ahead of us. That means more reaching and more talent falling. With these 2 things working together...a Jonathan Allen type drop isn't out of the realm of logic at 13. |

Re: Looking at the draft.
Yeah, I do agree. In fact I am rooting for NYG to take Barkley for several reasons:
1) miss the opportunity to get Eli's successor from top candidates 2) miss the opportunity to take a player who would be a DE stud for the next 10 years 3) should force the Skins FO to take a DT, which helps us both against Elliot and Barkley 4) keeps them from trading down and building their OL quicker. |

Re: Looking at the draft.
I don't want Giants to get Barkely or Chubb. My dream scenario is they take whatever QB turns out to be the worst out of the 1st rounders.

Giants will take a QB or Chubb. I don't see them taking Barkley.

Re: Looking at the draft.
I'm not against taking a back at 13 if he has a grade that warrants it.
I'm against trading up because of the huge cost of moving from 13 to the top few to snag Barkley. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Re: Looking at the draft.
Eli is old, they have to take Rosen IMO

Re: Looking at the draft.
Depends on what they think Eli has left, if the answer is 2-3 more years drafting a QB now may not be a priority |
