Luckily we have a ton of depth in this area. Next up, Tim Settle.

Always a pity to have season ending injuries in meaningless pre-season games !

Settle is the next fat guy up and he can wreck shit

Fuckin' lunchpail leader right there, like Kerrigan.

I hope we have the depth to survive this, but I feel bad for Matty I. Man just comes to work and does his job with no national recognition. Sucks.

Re: Matt Ioannidis has torn bicep

If we were any good I would take solace in our depth there but i cant even get upset about injuries because it just doesn’t matter. Obviously i feel bad for any player on a personal level - especially the good dudes like Matty I but as a fan it is just ehh.

Re: Matt Ioannidis has torn bicep

I think we will really feel his loss. Settle is good, but Ionnidis has been really good - constant pressure, a good number of sacks for an interior lineman, and excellent against the run. This is the deepest unit, but it still sucks for him and for us.

I know Settle will fill in without a hitch. Love Settles motor and strength.

Agreed.. And he will be on last year of the contract next year, hopefully we will extend his contract.

We should resign him and Allen, Payne and Settle contracts are coming up too. Cut Collins, Moses and Smith, that should give us plenty of cap space to sign all of them plus Scherff.

Nate Orchard has been promoted to the empty roster spot. Be interesting to see if he gets playing time and how he does.
