Re: Philly postgame week 1

1 and 0 .....

THIS is what change in culture looks like.

The fight. The not blaming your teammates when they f*ck up. The sticking together, and playing for the other 10.

What I am excited about is where this win takes us.

Because anyone not bought in before, will be bought in now.

Haskins was unimpressive, BUT ... he's young. And this is his first game in this system. And he didn't turn it over. Your boy Carson Wentz turned it over ... and over ... and over.

Feels great to be 1 and 0.

Let's go RAMS -- beat the Cowboys and give us the exacta!!

Feels good. Competent coaching and real half-time adjustments... Hats off to the coaching staff.

We’ve talked RK, Chase.

Check that box score...Matty I had 1.5 sacks today. Just a quiet baller.

Montez, Payne, Allen all got in the act too.

Yo, that rookie Curl...dude flashed a lil bit today.

Re: Philly postgame week 1

A pleasant day with a win. The defense looked better with a new D coordinator. The offense was surprising in the second half but I will not complain. Haskins may mature into a starting quarterback so I will withhold judgement for a few games. He did look good in the second half. All in all, I am happy with the outcome today. Kerrigan looked much better today, not as tired looking. I was wondering how the defense would get everyone involved. It seemed to work out great as the players did not look as tired at the end of the day. I am looking forward to next weeks game.

He seems to be decent pass catching TE... I gotta wait to see him consistently block. In the first half he completely whiffed on an outside run and it woke up the nightmares in my head of having no TE that can block.

Now I'll give him a pass because RR said he didn't know who were the guys who played in the 1st quarter and I agree with him.

This was my pregame thoughts:
Quote:
Things I expect to see:
A defensive front 4 rotation that hammers the Eagles line
A breakout offensive player - not sure who, but I think there is going to be a player the talking heads can't stop talking about.
A solid game plan and adjustments
A solid performance from Haskins than is expected

Things I hope
We win
We win convincingly
We sack Wentz 7 or more times
We see our offense as it should have been last year with good coaching

Overall, I think I am happy with how it turned out.

You got a lot of your wish list. 8 sacks?? I don’t remember ever seeing that. Was beautiful.

Re: Philly postgame week 1

This team is going to have to win games just like they did today. That d-line rotation, keeping everyone fresh, that seemed to be the difference today. In the past it seems like there wasn't much of one and guys just wore down. That was not the case today. Those guys were just eating.

I just feel w/ Haskins, he's just never going to be a accurate passer. His shot-put motion, footwork, it just isn't good enough at the NFL level. But he didn't have any turnovers, Wentz did and that was a huge difference.

Our run game was not good. I wonder if AP could have helped. 24 carries for 93 yards with Detroit.
Also shoutout to Moreland.

Our D is legit, our O will improve as the season progresses Young makes such a difference, my boy Moreland and Fuller should be the starting CB’s.

Time to move forward and see what we have. Longterm or even full season AP was not the answer here.

Time to put a fork on AP, I want to see Bryce Love instead of #38.

I was wondering where he was today. Really wish he would have gotten a look. Thrilled with the victory as others. Wow d looked good. Love the pass rush and tackling was very good. Concerned about Haskins' accuracy. Must be better. Love his fire and emotion though. Dude can lead. Very happy with this game 1 victory. @ Arizona will be tough. Our corners better be ready. Hopkins put up over 150 today.

Nice victory WFT!!

He was inactive, hopefully he’ll be active soon.
