Redskinema

Hey guys, I thought I'd post a link here to my build thread. I'm building a theater in my basement that I named after the Redskins. I was originally going to make it burgundy and gold but ended up not.

It's not finished yet but should be by opening kickoff! Then ill be watching games on a 115 inch wide screen in 11.2 speaker surround sound with one of my 9(currently) home brews on draft in a chilled cup holder!!

Let me know what you guys think. I've spent a solid 18 months on it so that's why I've done more reading that posting on here

A $15000 projector? I don't know whether to SMH or make myself your new best friend.

Nice! As a former audio/videophile (too expensive!) I am impressed. In a couple of years I hope to turn my basement into something similar. I'll be working with a 12' width due to the support columns, unless I design the aisle in and around the columns, which could be doable...

By the way, Saying Redskinema in my head makes me want to add an "x" to the end. Brings back good times during my teenage years.

Looked it up...before you had mentioned you bought on demo. Still though that's impressive. I just spent a good 45 minutes rolling through that thread. I am in awe. I don't think I could be any more impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail it seems you have. Finish the damn thing now so I can see the pics.

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. My girlfriend is always saying she doesnt think people will notice all the detail that goes in. But if you look through what was done there really is a lot that goes into it. Between soundproofing, the acoustics, getting all that to work with a nice design. Its starting to finally take final shape so I think things will start to show more. Though most people will think the walls are flat, and not actually 3.5 inches thick on the sides, 7.5 inches thick on the back wall and a foot on the front wall. Itll all look flush.

Too bad it's located in New Jersey!

Looking amazing. Do you think you'll be complete before that approaching 2-year mark hits?

Re: Redskinema

Damn. From the thread on that other forum it looks stunning so far. I can only imagine how awesome it's going to look when it's done. Congrats dude, I hope someday I can earn enough income to afford a magnificent haven to watch sports in. From the pics it looks like a lot of hard work has been done, I hope it's as stunning as you want it to be when it's finished.
