Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

Retired WR Anquan Boldin now hopes to come back, and has been granted permission by the Bills to seek a trade.

Boldin spent just 13 days with the Bills before deciding to call it quits, but the team still owns his rights. Were the Bills to find an interested party, the compensation would be a compensatory day-three pick. Boldin had little left before walking away, but offers sure hands and leadership. He could generate some interest.

I would work him out today.

Why? He's just gonna take away PT from somebody who needs it more. Especially if it's Pryor, he ain't gonna get better sitting on the bench. Boldin will want to go somewhere that has an opening for a top 2 wideout. We do but our problem is our young guns need time to grow.

Eh....I think I'd pass. Pass it to Boldin that is! The receiving corp could use some long time veteran leadership.

Yeah...I just think a strong leader and proven pass catcher could add a spark to the receiving corp. Could help TP and Doc in their progression as WR...he could even add some coaching.

I think Bolden could fill the security blanket WR role Cousins desperately needs. How many more times are we gonna see TP drop a big play or first down catch? How many more times is Ryan FUCKING Grant gonna run a 2 yard out pattern on 3rd down when we need 3 yards?

We need a spark...work him out at least.

Bolden can be a coach on the field for our young wideouts. I think it is definitely worth the looks.

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

Absurd. Look at his numbers from last year when we was in Detroit, 67 catches for 584 yards, not even 9 yards per catch. I fail to see how that's better than what Ryan Grant gives us currently. And he's yet a year older than that.

Stop it.

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

Way too late to bring in a WR unless they already know the system.

We need to get Reed and Crowder going and just live with the fact our WRs are going to be nowhere as productive as the past few years.

Re: Terrell Pryor Sr.

Agree. Forget Pryor, let him languish on the bench and find a new team next year, it's more important long term that we develop Doctson. Let him start at X the rest of the year.

And lean on Reed, Crowder and Vernon Davis in the meantime.

It's hard to fault Grant because he runs good routes and has hands but he just isn't going to make a play. I feel like DBs are sitting on his routes waiting for a pick6.
Agreed about coaching.

Docston development isn't satisfying, Crowder is underachieving and Pryor can't catch a ball anymore while last year he was all about big catches in traffic...

Something's not done well...

I listened to this segment too. He said that because he was mad at his run blocking (rightfully so, the guy obviously doesn't care, he doesn't even try...) and said he wasn't doing enough in the passing game to afford this attitude.

Kevin strongly disagreed with him and said we couldn't give up on Docston yet.

Financially, Pryor's deal is low risk. The team can opt not to sign him next year (which will most likely happen), and the loss is minimal.
No argument from me. It's not like Pryor's deal has set the team back several seasons. He was a hot commodity this offseason that a lot of teams wanted. Maybe he is a flash in the pan or he's just not a proper fit for Wash's offense?

Either way barring a miracle run where he breaks off a hundred plus yards every game, on top of multiple touchdowns I don't see The Redskins resigning him unless it's a really low amount of money.

It's really inexcusable to play football at the NFL level w/out any urgency. The last two weeks I've also seen him block like a bitch and run some shitty routes. On one of his routes on 3rd down he ran a basic out the incorrect way and the ball could have been picked off. I now see why KC doesn't throw him the ball.
