Absolutely. We need either Milne, AGG, Brown, or Sims to have a bust out year, and for Samuel to stay healthy. Than WR is set. I know we need to have a plan B if it doesn’t but if they believe in those guys and think Samuel is a go than why take a wr at 11? |

Re: Commanders free agency thread
This draft is loaded with big and fast WR's throughout. We can improve that position over the backup players we have now by drafting one early or late, not necessarily at 11.

Either way, I'm not going to freak out over it. I would have loved to see Flowers extended instead of released... But we needed a guard, and they seem to have got a decent guard. I'm ok with it pretty much regardless of the $ (would make more sense if Norwell gets way less than Flowers obviously, but...).

Re: Commanders free agency thread
I wouldn't mind Trevor Penning in the 1st round either, he would solidify the OL.

Don’t know much about those two. Looked them both up. Read a lot of good shit about Anderson. Christian Harris looking like he will be there in the second round for sure. Love that kid. Two dream scenarios… Kyle Hamilton at 11 Christian Harris at 47 Or Devin Lloyd at 11 Lewis Cine at 47 |

Re: Commanders free agency thread
I have a feeling we are trading the 11th pick down, with 5 picks they need more picks.

Would it be nice to get some more picks? Yep. But do we really want to lose out on Sauce or Hamilton, etc. Or if Willis is still there? Of course FA just started, so this is no where near settled anyways.

Norwell was scheduled to be under contract for 2022, but the Jaguars agreed to shorten the contract in exchange for a pay cut for 2021. Shortening contracts make the player ineligible to generate compensatory picks for his former team. |

John Keim:
Will be curious to see what happens with OT Cornelius Lucas. Washington has stayed in t ouch and wants him back. Still testing market. Was a valuable swing tackle the past two years, an important role for any team that wants legit OL depth. Stay tuned. I agree, Lucas played well as the swing and need him back
