Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread

Probably going to be hard to get anything for ZB, maybe a 6th or 7th at best since it's obvious we're going to release him.

I like this strategy

NFL Network Tom Pelissero confirming big interest in CJ Mosley. #realshit

Collins does nothing for me. The Giants made zero attempt to resign him. He's probably better than anyone we have but at 10 million? Even 7 or 8 mill, no way.

If I were the Redskins, sit pat and be active in the 2nd wave in free agency. That is always where the best value is. The first wave most of the time ends up being buyers remorse.

I simply think there is better value than Collins at safety in this market. If would could get Mosely, I think he is a better player at his position but again...ILB and Safeties, is this where we should be spending big money on Defense?

Yep, I agree. Let Mosley get his 16 M a year elsewhere.

I kinda liked the setup of Shaun Hamilton and Rueben Foster. You had some middle round prospects at ILB that are kinda solid too...I liked the kid out of Notre Dame.

Agreed.

ILB is not a position I want to overspend on.
Now if we end up signing Mosley what do you guys think it says about Rueben Foster's availability ? (If anything).

What is Mason Foster worth in a trade? A bag of UTZ potato chips?

Re: Redskins Free Agency Thread

I’m stoked to have Collins because he always wanted to be here but I’m kinda worried about that money we put out.

Lot of money but we weren't getting him with less than that. I like the move.
This was the only position where I was hoping for a splashy signing.

Good use of the cap space. Other needs can be filled with cheaper contracts / via the draft.

I don’t think it says anything about Foster
