Paint Job and Helmet decals

I cannot figure out how to upload the pictures so I do not know how effective this post will be....Anyways I loved the 75th anniversary uniforms and after a pretty boring summer I decided to paint my 1998 Honda CR-V to reflect that. I painted it yellow, accented all the trim, bumpers and door handles in burgundy, and topped it off with a Redskins tire cover. It looks pretty awesome!

Anyways, I would like to put the 75th anniversary decal (the R with the tribal ring) on each back window. I am running into two problems: I want it to be 12" X 12" and all I can find online is 6" X 6". Also, if they arent "helmet" decals, the tribal ring is backwards on the driver's side. The basic idea is for my car to look like a giant yellow Redskins helmet so the backwards logo is unacceptable IMO. Does anyone know where I can purchase or even upload a copy of a 12" X 12" decal that will have both feathers facing the back on both sides?

I wanna see a pic. Are the pics in your phone or what? Can you e-mail them to yourself or something?

Damn, did you paint this yourself? You did a really good job, i was picturing spray paint in my head. Looks awesome, but youre right if you got decals on this thing it would really finish it off. Are you driving this around texas or colorado? Also a Hail To The Redskins Horn would be nice, or a loud ass air horn....

Thanks!! Me and a buddy used oil based enamel and a $20 spray gun from Harbor Freight. The trim and bumpers were done with spray paint made for plastic. Total price for paint job: $75. I spent more on masking tape than I did on paint lol. I was thinking of the horn myself... I wish I could drive it around Texas, but alas Colorado is where its being driven. There are plenty of Cowboys fans around here to make people angry tho. Plus there are some Broncos fans around that still aren't over that super bowl when we spanked that ass.

Please if anyone here knows where I can get those decals it would be appreciated!

P.S. I am thinking of putting retired jersey numbers along the back bumper (stickers) and maybe the three super bowl logos. Too tacky?

Impressed by the paint job! Awesome that you're in Colorado with this!

Your best bet is having a tiny & vinyl graphics shop print/cut some logos out for you. It should not be too costly with 2 colors.

Just ask about the fade resistance of their vinyl...you don't want it looking pink in a couple of years.

Re: Paint Job and Helmet decals

My wife drove a 1999 Honda CR-V that was burgundy. I could have had the opposite color scheme of your vehicle. Burgundy with yellow trim. We sold it last year to get her a new GMC Acadia. That's an awesome job though. I want to see the finished pics when you get your logos.

awesome, downright radical. maybe decals on the rear window for retired numbers and super bowl logos.

or get nuts w it and go 3 super bowls on 3 wheels, save a spot for the 4th. and stickers on the bumper like you said.

great job, hail!

Like this? You can also choose different sizes:
