Warpath Q & A with OL Shar Pourdanesh

It's another blast from the past as the Warpath Front Office brings you an opportunity to chat with former Redskins OL Shar Pourdanesh.

For those of you that don't remember Pourdanesh, he is the only Iranian-born football player in NFL history, andhelped the team anchor its offensive line from 1996-1998. Multiple knee injuries forced Pourdanesh to retire from the NFL in 2001.

Please send me your questions by this afternoon so I can send them over to him.

Shar is among a group of business experts who will join forces
at the Zero to Wealth Event, taking place on May 20th - 21st at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. Shar will be joined by
former Redskins stars, Ed Simmons, Ken Harvey, Raleigh McKenzie and
Brian Mitchell from 7-10PM on May 20th, for a VIP Cocktail Hour prior
to the start of the Zero to Wealth Event. Here attendees can meet with
former Redskins players.

A little more about Shar Pourdanesh and the Zero to Wealth Event:

Arlington, Virginia (May 9, 2011) - After multiple knee
injuries forced Shar Pourdanesh to retire from the NFL in 2001, he
parlayed his no-holds barred approach learned on the gridiron to the
business world where he played an integral role in a number of
successful start-up ventures. Today, the former Washington Redskins
lineman now based out of Southern California is a widely-recognized
start-up expert and serves as the Founding Director of 3G Mix Media, a
group of multi-branded companies presenting state-of-the-art products
for entrepreneurs in the Real Estate-Seminar Industry.

"Even in difficult economic times, anyone is equipped to
become a millionaire with the right coaching," said Pourdanesh who was
named the 1997 National Immigrant of Year recipient for his work on
and off the field. "Whether you are unemployed or looking to catapul

About Shar Pourdanesh

Born in Tehran, Iran in July of 1970, Shar and his family
escaped revolution in 1979 and fled to Europe. After three years of
exile in West Germany, the Pourdanesh family settled in Irvine, CA in
1983. After being introduced to football at age 15, Shar parlayed his
athletic ability into a scholarship to the University of Nevada after
a successful career at University High School in Irvine.

As a two-time team captain, he helped lead the Nevada Wolfpack
to three conference titles and a spot in the 1990 National Title game.
He left Nevada in 1993 as one of its most decorated players in
history: an All-American, Academic All-American, three-time
All-Conference, and the team's 1992 Most Outstanding Offensive Player.
He was also inducted in the Nevada Hall of Fame in 2005.

After being passed over in the 1993 NFL draft and being cut by
the Cleveland Browns, Shar played two seasons for the Canadian
Football League's Baltimore Stallions, where he was a two-time
all-star and recipient of the CFL's Most Outstanding Lineman Award in
1994. He returned to the NFL in 1996 where he helped anchor the
Washington Redskins offensive line starting at both left and right
tackle. He is the first Iranian born player in NFL history, and in
1997 was honored as the National Immigrant of Year recipient for his
work on and off the field. After six seasons in the NFL (Washington
Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Oakland Raiders) multiple knee
injuries forced Shar to retire from football in 2001.

The very next year, Shar made a smooth transition into the
business world, and has since been successful in a wide range of
business ventures in Southern California. Since that transition, he
was the integral part of eight startup companies, and is now
widely-regarded as a business startup expert.
