Players around the league aren't disclosing locations for obvious reasons. I know a lot of the footage has see police escorts around the fields. Down here in Atlanta I was curious to see if the Falcons were practicing at one of our nearby high schools as my area has the nicest fields in the state, plus I'm not to far from Flowery Branch which is basically Ashburn for the Falcons

However I was unable to find any reference online to the actual high school the Falcons were practicing at. Pretty sure if I asked around someone would have recognized the location, but my interest only went so far as to find the name of the school. Anyway, I doubt the Skins did anything different.

Kind of elaborates on some stuff I had mentioned earlier about Beck being more of a leader and Rex more of a loner off the field of play

Gotta say I like Beck's hands on approach. That's what you want from your QB.

Veterans put Redskins rookies to work

Agree on Beck, Matty. That's smart what he's doing

Of course he needs to be able to play well too, but he seems to have the leadership angle down. That's a good thing.

Nice to read that we have more players showing up for these workouts then other teams. God knows we need the work.

I'd be shocked if they were there. I expect all these guys not to be there. Hell, Los stayed of actual games b/c he was scared of damaging his value, no way he's going to come to a workout not mandatory...lol

I'm glad many of the guys are getting reps in. Kudos!

According to Rich Campbell, Aldrick Robinson's flight was cancelled due to bad weather

Atogwe also not there-so Doughty, Landry, and Atogwe all not there. Reed and OJ have legit excuses. Not sure what Landry's is.

And Malcolm Kelly not here either. Not really sure why not. But I can't entirely blame him considering his injury history

I think it's great that players are getting together on their own, but I don't fault anyone for not attending. One major injury and suddenly everyone will have a different opinion on these workouts. These guys aren't getting paid and aren't covered medically by the league. Some guys are taking on a big risk by going out there. Even if they have their own coverage a major injury could be quite costly on many levels.

If I'm Kelly I'd be sequestered in a hyperbaric chamber until the lockout ends and camp begins. He knows this is his last chance and won't risk it for anything. He probably won't take McNabb's calls this year about AZ throwing camp!

Good to see Beck taking a leadership role. If nothing else he's proving to Mike and Kyle that he WANTS to be the man. Whether he's capable of doing so or not is a wholly different conversation. Hopefully though his play 'becks' up his words.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I'd still prefer Rex start at this point

I think just the probability says he's a better option than Beck, but I'm doing the Jags game review right now and it looks like the worst performance by a Redskins QB since Todd Collins against Kansas City in 2009.

I guess I don't know what else to say outside of the fact that Quarterbacks were last a problem here during the Martyball days. So this is somewhat new territory we're treading into.

And even then we went 8-8 after an 0-5 start. Then again we had a defense that year along with a running game. Kind of miss Stephen Davis now. Still both defense and running game in position to improve significantly this year.

Not sure though if Kyle needs to change philosophy or if he's simply been handcuffed by poor defensive play that has forced him to continue throwing the ball late in games. In both of the Grossman video's I've made you can see how much longer the second half is then the first half, mainly because running game has to be abandoned to control clock and attempt to catch up in the second half. Haven't gotten past the first half of the Jags game though, interested in seeing your report.
