Re: Dallas postgame

Few highlights from Jay's presser:

- Said HHCD has fit in well, a true pro, last one to leave the building type guy. (Personal note I still think he could be a good player, just needs time to learn the system).

- Colt got no reps with the 1's this week due to short week so obviously he was rusty, hasn't had any reps with the 1's since training camp/OTA's. Not an excuse though.

- Said the D. Lawrence interception was just a great individual play (I agree).

- Said we're still in a tie for 1st and we have 5 weeks to figure it out. (The only positive).

- Matt Ioannidis has a calf injury, McKenzy has a shoulder injury.

- Has to watch the film to figure out why the breakdowns happened.

- Blamed himself for not giving Dak/Cooper the respect they deserved (Dak on the td run, Cooper on the catches).

- Doesn't know why our run D has been lacking for the last month or so.

Re: Dallas postgame

We will have 3 QBs on the roster next year. Hope the 3rd one is a rookie that turns into stud.

listening to Jay's press conference and I can't stand this guy. Just doesn't come across as a leader. We need James Caan from The Program.

And a HC that makes no adjustments in the games. Time to move on from Jay

Okie though man Colt had no practice and hadn’t started a game in years. Oh in a few days ur playing prime time on the road against Dallas in a huge game. Give him 11 days to get ready for the birds. Alex wasn’t scoring anymore points tonight than Colt. It may have been a “cleaner “ 23 points. Lol. Again give Colt some practice reps. He had none before his first start in years against Dallas on the road in a big game. Cannot be overlooked.
Dallas may as well be 6-6 cus they play the Saints. We are 6-5. Lets do this man.

Re: Dallas postgame

I do not think Colt is the long term answer. Nor was Smith. But guys what quarterback ever gets his first start in years without being able to take a damn practice snap, on the road in a big game against a hated rival and doesn’t look rusty? Name one.

No it aint. We are winning the division. We are going one n done cus our division is shit and big time changes are needed with our front office n staff and we do not have our quarterback of the immediate future on our roster, BUT we are winning the division.

Re: Dallas postgame

Doesn't matter if you hate or love Colt, he's starting the rest of the year.

What a letdown by the secondary today. Gonna need to spend/draft a minimum of 3 guys next year (HHCD staying could be 1). Norman is gonzo. Moreau was shit on a stick today. Give Dunbar a pass because he had no business playing.

Re: Dallas postgame

I’ve been dying for a HC that will truly be a ride or die and slap these guys backs when they do well and really give them tough love when they suck. Gruden is such a players coach, coaches so that people like him instead of really grabbing guys by the neck and being like, “you need to play better because I know you can play better”
