This must be why skins offense progressively scores more and more points as the game goes on. He is SOOO good at halftime adjustments. This is like saying he is also great at motivation an making sure his teams play to their maximum potential regardless of who they are playing. Frankly, these are the 2 weaknesses that will eventually get him fired. Unless of course he is blessed with talent and wins a couple playoff games

Nsekhe usually could handle LT on his own but I still have some concerns when we play Houston and Dallas..

WTF! It's just a thumb! Wrap it up in a cast and move on!
Can't you put a cast on it that keeps the thumb stiff but leaves the other 4 fingers hang out? I've seen those before, this is going to be a bif loss being out for a month

Offensive lineman need their hands.

Trent usually guts out just about anything so the fact he’s out should say something.

I think you misunderstood CRed's point. He was not talking about IN-game adjustments. He was talking about adjustments made from one game to the next; particularly against the same team. Give him time in the film room, and Gruden can get a solid game plan together.

I agree with you on the in-game adjustments and motivational issues. Pretty sure CRed does so too.

He'll be replaced by Ty Nsekhe, who is referred to by many in the Redskins organization as the best backup tackle in football.

"I think the biggest compliment could be that nothing changes, we don't skip a beat," quarterback Alex Smith said. "Play calling, run, pass, you name it, nothing really skips a beat and that is very, very rare in this league. I think when in the middle of the game, your (Pro Bowl) left tackle goes out, it’s a rarity to have a guy like Ty to step in and do what he does."

Re: Dirty Birds Preview

When it comes to depth on this team...Nsekhe is one of the strongest backups we have. I have a lot of faith in him. The fact we don’t swing over Moses says a lot. Get well silverblunt.

Re: Dirty Birds Preview

Ty is a great backup no doubt but we’ll definitely miss Trent. Can’t just replace the best LT in the game.

Still nice to not have to be in full panic mode. Hopefully when TW gets back he is 100% healthy and ready to resume kicking ass.

Re: Dirty Birds Preview

Trent athleticism is irreplaceable...getting out in the run game especially.

Really hoping Dunbar is a full go.

Also heard falcons kicker Bryant is out again...could come up big in a close game.

Think it was JP Finlay on Kevin Sheehan's show who said he talked to TW right after the game, asked him if he was going to play next game, and usually he has that "you I'm gonna play no matter what look" but this time he said "I don't know, I need my hands...".
Defensive linemen can play with a cub, but OL need to be able to fully grasp.

Yes i was DEFINITELY not giving Gruden credit for in game adjustments. He hasn't shown much if any ability at that aspect.
