Bruce Allen is a hack. Can only hide behind the last name and accomplishments of decades previous for only but so long.
He must go!
Hire a professional and let them run the team.
Give them full control.
If Allen is still there after the worst season in modern era Redskins history there is no hope.
PLEASE DAN!

I think Tomlin still has a couple years left on his contract and there's no way I see he him opting out for the Skins job. He's not that desperate.

This. I don't understand all the talk with Tomlin?? I know Ed Werder reported it, but WTF do you throw his name out there? I mean if you're just compiling a wish list of any coach you would want...why not name Sean McVay??? Pederson? Reich?? Hell why not say you'll target Belichick...the best of them all??? It's ridiculous.

Tomlin is reportedly on the hot seat. There is also the draw to the DMV that his son plays foosball for the Terps

Tomlin is lucky in that he gets to coach for the Steelers who will never be run by idiots. They're always going to have a strong gm in place. They already had a QB in place. If he came here he'd totally fail cause he wouldn't be able to pick his staff and QB. He'd just be coming for the money.

It would be the most “more of the same bullshit” choice ever. Terrible choice.

Plenty of talk out there about a potential trade, that would be the most likely scenario to get him here

Trading a pick or picks for a coach when you pretty much need a whole new O-line including a pair of tight ends is plain stupid.

Wow, trading for Mike Tomlin would be about the dumbest most stupidest thing ever. Here you're already down a pick that's going to be at the top of the 2nd round and you'd trade for a average coach? Not sure if I believe this. I'm not even sure the Redskins are that stupid.

its the epitome of incompetence.

So I guess Tomlin comes here and Bruce forces his own choices at D Coor, O Coor down the line? probably

I bet Tomlin is checking his contract to see if there's a no trade or opt out clause in there. He cant possibly want to come to this dumpster fire.

The Steelers are change adverse which is why I don't see them making this move. Plus what could the Skins have that the Steelers need/want? IMO this is just talking heads talking.
