Based on his smarts and his film in college, he will prove it in camp. I'm all for the kid sitting and learning but I believe he will be ready.

Based on Snyder telling his entire scouting staff, fuck your draft board, pick Haskins at #15.. lol. No one is going to Raljohn as it is, but especially if you roll Case or Colt out there. Example.. what good did it do for Clev to start Tyrod Taylor last year? It did them no good at all. The guy isn't even on the team this year.

Jay said a couple weeks ago Colt had a "setback"...I think Colts out of the picture as opening day starter (thankfully). He's basically worthless imo and some say he may not be ready for the season.

Colt is the new Luavoa...

Colt very well may have played his last down, not only as a Skin, but in the NFL.

If he's not ready to go week 1 there's no way Jay is gonna use a roster spot for him as the 3rd QB. It'll be Case and Haskins.

Once Colt hits the market who is going to invest in an older, average-to-below-average-quality QB coming off a broken leg?

He might stay on as an offensive/QB coach assistant or something, but I don't think he's playing anymore.

Re: Redskins rookie mini camp thread

Overreaction central up in here. Colt's setback in no way means he's not in the mix. It just means he can't participate in OTAs, and that he's targeting a return for training camp.

Once he returns for training camp, Jay will give him every opportunity because Jay knows he needs to win this year.

You can question whether Colt can hold up over 16 games, perfectly valid point. But Jay will give him every opportunity - if Case or Haskins demonstrate mastery of the system like Colt does, then THAT's what shuts the door on McCoy. It's not the leg that shuts the door.
