Re: Around the League Week 4
Asked for the rationale behind Smith being deactivated on Sunday, Nagy offered simply: “I’m going to leave it as it’s completely a personal matter — and I’m just going to completely leave it at that.”Pressed on whether Smith’s absence could extend beyond Sunday’s game, Nagy once again declined to answer, repeating that it was a “personal matter” for the linebacker.
https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bears-t...065846127.html Roquan Smith's name wasnt called a lot during our game against the Bears but i highly doubt his "deactivation for personal reasons" was bc of his play. Bears are a highly combustible, leaking oil 3-1 team right now. |

Re: Around the League Week 4
Dak had faced Skins, Miami and Giants defense before last night...3 worst in the league.
Dak wilted a bit last night. he wasn't very good...actually as an offense it was a poor effort

Re: Around the League Week 4
Dak is okay. If his 1st read is open I think he can deliver a good ball. He can scramble and extend plays. He doesnt throw anyone open. He doesnt get to this 2nd or 3rd option as I think the Boys have him look 1st read then check down as the no. 2. Which is fine imo. Potentially SB contender if you have a run game and D.
He is a good game manager, which isnt a diss. Being around the 15th best QB in the NFL isnt anything to be ashamed of. Cowboys have a new O Coord so you knew the league would adjust once enough film was out to game plan for it. Interesting to see how the new Coord adjusts to the adjustment. |

But he doesn't come close to being able to throw the entire passing tree, and he's just a function of what's around him. He's not a bad QB nor is he a great or good QB. He's about average. On some game days he can be slightly, above average or, as like last night, below average. He's the ultimate game manager, which can be a good thing. |

Re: Around the League Week 4
Last nights game was the first where the Dallas offense actually had to contend with real home fan noise in the Superdome. Communications was an issue.
Giants, Fins at home and at FedEx to a mostly Dallas crowd. Saints at home is a different atmosphere. Game plan was lousy. Looked so much like Scott Linehan was back it was scary. Vanilla, predictable and lacked aggression. Lack of adjustments at halftime. Lack of execution. This is where I think the crowd noise contributed most. But they are still near the top rung in the NFC even after a loss. They lost by 2 on the road to a QUALITY opponent. The defense did not surrender a touchdown. When you consider the turd that the Rams laid against the Bucs at home. If you are who you say you are, you beat the bad teams handily, and compete against the best teams. So far that is what they have done. 4 weeks is a small sampling size though. |

Re: Around the League Week 4
When I say done. I mean no SB. I don't care if they make playoffs. But its a guarantee that at least Saints and Seattle wont make playoffs. Season 100 on nfc side will only matter for teams older than from the 1960s.
Rams showed yesterday that it's not their year. Seattle showed that vs a back up in their own house. Saints won a game with 4 field goals. They all suck now. If one of them makes playoffs ,they will be eliminated. Therefore they don't matter. I deal in absolutes. They do not matter for season 100 |

The Saints,Rams, Seahawks don't matter this year. Kc won't make it to SB either. There's no chance I'll be wrong on those 4 teams. |

This board and its members enjoy football, and the games that are played week in week out. We come on here to discuss, vent, enjoy and hate the things that are seen by the naked eye in the NFL. Your conspiracy posts, and your diatribe of how it shall be because of pre-ordained order has gotten a bit tiresome. There are reddit sub areas i suppose that would eat your prophetic notes up, but your notes add zero to the enjoyment of this board, except in the possibility of mocking sarcasm, but since we do try to be respectful, we won't really do that. This in a nutshell is a polite request to take your act elsewhere for the rest of the board subscribers sake. Yes you can tell others that those fellas and ladies on thewarpath just cannot handle your truths. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |
