I know that you are being sarcastic even though sarcasm is hard for me to understand sometimes. I think sometimes that Dan Snyder still believes that RG3 can be salvaged, and that is why they are reluctant to pull the trigger on RG3 getting released / cut / traded, etc...

Ask the Rams, all those picks didn't do them much good.

He very well could be salvaged. It's simply not going to happen here. Even Dan knows this. He's going to be cut soon enough, sit tight.

Would have had a couple more #1 picks, probably would have still had Kirk Cousins, but I think Shanahan would have still been canned.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread

yeah, i'm not sure shannahan would have ended any other way (going down in flames) here. it just wasn't a good fit.

if we could do it over, i'd keep the picks, but there's 0 guarantee things would have gone any better. and there's no time machines, so let's just move on... we're sort of good right now, let's focus on that.

Rapoport: The #Redskins are keeping all options open on Kirk Cousins. They have not ruled out tagging him and trading him, sources say.

That might be an option, but I'm giving those the odds of a snowball's chance in hell.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread

Rappaport says that the transition tag is in play. This to me is incredibly stupid, letting your starting QB negotiate with other teams that are desperate for a QB. Something tells me that Cousins and the Redskins are far apart in negotiations.

Trading Kc??? If they do that I'm out man. We finally have a bright spot at QB and if they trade him what would they get in return?? This sounds like more drama once again in wash

If you translate the fan reaction to that "trade Kirk" tweet it probably sounds something like this:
