Jiffy Lube Post Game Report - Washington v Miami

All our lanes are open, and Miami receivers and runners found them easily. Our Defense helped Miami get tuned up for the playoff run.

Our offense sputtered, clearly needing more lube to get anything done.

The bye week may beat our team 31 to 0

All other shit aside, that FG attempt in the 4th is up there with not going for 2 against Philly for Ron's most spineless and psychology damaging decisions of the year.

Who cares. We're going to lose out for the rest of the year and Ron will be gone.

All I care is about getting a top draft pick, so the new regime can pick a QB or LT.

Hell, he coached as if he was inebriated, so he's probably feeling right at home so to speak.

How in the hell does a numb nut like Ron Rivera have a job in the NFL let alone one that involves being in charge of personnel. My God this man is an absolute fraud.

150 points allowed over 4 games. Can’t sniff a 20 spot on offense. Our special teams is a fucking disaster. I know a lot can happen between now and September and will, but I am no longer sure that anyone in the free world can field a competitive team based on the roster Ron has left here. Oline - nada. Secondary - nada. LB’s - nada. Edge - nada. Longsnapper- nada. Top tier wr or rb - nada. TE - nada. QB - huge maybe. If Williams or Maye is there and the draft were tomorrow im taking one which means one less hole filled elsewhere. That is a mountain of holes that need to be filled. They would literally have to hit on 8 out of 8 in the draft and every single FA acquisition to field a competitive team.

I'm still drinking the kool-aid for 2024. But it's really just wishful thinking until we find out who the GM is. Harris hiring the right GM is more important than all other offseason decisions combined. If he hires the right GM, its fucking go-time.

It is just that the more this team trots out there the more empty the cupboard seems. I have faith they will hire a good GM. Certainly way better than Rivera. I am just questioning whether any GM on Earth can overhaul 80 percent of our roster in one offseason. I know the coaching staff makes it look worse than it is, but remember that the same idiot making these players look bad also acquired them. The overall talent on this roster is weak as fuck.
This team is a call, and an inch, and a bounce from being winless.

The right GM with our current resources this off/draft season: The opportunity to massively improve this roster. I don't think its possible to think we can be like legit super bowl winners in 2024, but I absolutely believe its possible to finish over .500 and make the playoffs. There is generally at least 1 or 2 teams that make the playoffs after not making it. Why not us. The Snyder stench is officially fucking dead the day after week 17 is over.

The Lions did a pretty fast overhaul. So did the Jags. Not saying those are SB teams but they’re playoff teams and for more competitive than anything we’ve seen since Gibbs 2.0. It can be done. But no more stopgap stupid shit. Just rebuild for real.

Reasons to be optimistic for 2024:

We're going to have a new GM that will likely do a better job at using the draft and free agency to address the team's needs.

We're going to have a top draft pick with the possibility of moving up to #1 overall (depending on how the draft shakes out).

We are very likely going to have, for the first time in a LONG time, a new HC with a rookie QB.

We will hopefully have better coaches.

We will have $90 million in cap space.

Re: Jiffy Lube Post Game Report - Washington v Miami

I just watched the highlights. This team has quit completely. There is no way our WRs are that bad all of the sudden.

DBs are the worst in the league. We need 2 starting safeties and 2 starting corners next season.

Honestly rooting for this team is getting harder and harder to do by the season. Haven’t bought one Commanders item all year and never even wear their gear anymore. It’s so embarrassing to even root for them
