Re: Does Favre Retire?

I don't think so.

They have a very young team up there in GB. He might stick around for 1 or 2 more years.

Re: Does Favre Retire?

Favre is like that old dog that will only leave once you take him out to the field and shoot him!

But seriously, he will only leave if something forces him out of the game

Re: Does Favre Retire?

He should.... he did it to them again. His gunslinger ways did it again. His status as a legend quarterback are tainted in my opinion. My girlfriend is a cheese head and I watch just as many Packer games as Redskins games and I can tell you he should give it up and let Aaron Rogers take over. That INT should be his last pass. But who gives a rats ass!!! I don't, I don't care about the Super Bowl all I am looking forward to is training camp to open.... Hail!!!!!!

Without that gunslinger the packers would've been a wildcard team at best. No way they get a playoff win without him.

He made a bad throw, But he's always done that.

I totally agree. Prior to discovering Ryan Grant at midseason, Favre was all they had offensively. I hope that he comes back for one more year.

Re: Does Favre Retire?

I say give him more more season. If he don't win it next year atleast he'll distance himself further from anyone that'll come close to his reps. Really disappointed that Favre didn't get one last chance. Giants team ain't worthy. They have as much chance of beating Pats as I do and I"m not even a team in the NFL! COME BACK FAVRE!!!

Re: Does Favre Retire?

I was wondering how long it would take before seeing the annual "does Favre retire" thread.

I would like to say he should come back for another year to try to win one more superbowl, but he won't make it there because the Redskins will be in it next year.

Re: Does Favre Retire?

More reason to stay this year than he did last year. He should stick around. I like him still being in the league. Gives me ties to when i first started liking football and he was my favorite player.

Too bad for aaron rogers.

He can still play at a very high level. If he still has the fire in his gut and with GB's young team I see no reason why he cant keep playing.

He looked like the cold got the better of him last night. Eli was cold but his age had to play a part. Favre old bones froze and he was not affective in the 4th quarter and OT.

He will be back b/c they have a good team though.
