Around the NFL…Week 10

We skipped right over Week 9.

I really hope Josh Allen is OK. The NFL is more fun with him playing.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 10

If I'm HBO, I would had a mid-season Hard Knocks (again) just to cover this mess in Indy:

@TomPelissero
Another surprise in Indianapolis: #Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday is expected to have 30-year-old pass game specialist/assistant quarterbacks coach Parks Frazier serve as the offensive play-caller starting Sunday against the #Raiders, sources tell me and
@RapSheet.

They may have "try-your-hand-at-QB" contest with the fans by the end of the season.

Tell me you're tanking without telling me you're tanking

Saturday -> HC
Frazier -> OC

I think what is going on in Indy is the only way for a team to tank, when it is directed by the owner. Coaches and players are never going to tank, while there is still any hope of success.

UCL, that's a new one. and Indy... I wouldn't be shocked if he had strict marching orders to lose. Definitely looking like a tank job.

Imagine Snyder firing Ron and hiring Clinton Portis as HC?

Irsay is just wild man

Was it just me or did he seem drunk at that presser the other day

Without Manning and Luck, generational talents at QB, the Colts are down in the basement with us. Irsay really believes he is behind the past success of the Colts with those QBs.

I was going say that, its like Irsay drove a Ferrari for years and years and now all he has is a Ford Escape, its got suck knowing the feeling of Ferrari but now on Sunday you just fire up the old Escape to head over to Costco for the L.

It's like BB, I think he's a top 3 Coach of all time but without TB12 does he ever win a SB?

In fact

In games he's coached the Patriots without Brady over his 23 seasons in New England, Belichick has gone 36-38

To be fair, though - a lot of those games were with backup QBs or rookies, not veteran starters.

Would be interesting to see how he´d do with middle-to-good QBs like Stafford, Wentz (a couple of years ago) or Eli.

Irsay is wild but props to Saturday for acknowledging the reality. I admire his courage knowing he is gonna destroy his own coaching reputation if this experiment fails. And if they play better and win a few more Saturday can hold his head high.
