Everytime I saw Jackson in man he got burned. He can't make any plays on the ball. Idk where this talk about him being this man corner came from. He can't play man or zone. He's just a corner with decent speed and zero ball skills.

It was another poorly thought out personnel decision by gm Ron. He said so himself. Please make a GM top priority for the future.

Following the trade on Tuesday, the #Dolphins and LB Bradley Chubb agreed to terms on a 5-year, $119M extension.

Theres your bench mark for Montez Sweat

I don't believe Sweat is in the position to ask for similar money, he isn't on the same level as Chubb is.

Their stats are pretty similar, but Sweat has been arguably more impactful (and more available) over the last four years than Chubb, and he didn't have Von Miller on the other end of the DL for half his career.

He will definitely get the same money or more.

Then I'd let him go sign somewhere else and keep the money/get compensatory pick.

Gotta keep Sweat or Chase. I'm not sold that it's going to be Chase.

Sweat has been quietly solid in run game too. I think he is undervalued by us fans

Re: Around the NFL…Week 8

In a recent article by ESPN, their insiders suggest that significant roster moves could be coming for the Raiders. Here is what Dan Graziano had to say about the Raiders moving forward:

“All is not well in Vegas, and I would expect significant roster changes if things don’t turn around before the end of this season. There is zero guaranteed money on Derek Carr’s new “contract extension” after this season. Just sayin’.”

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/espn-su...182912302.html

This is just pure speculation and I dont even know if the trade deadline has passed .. but I def welcome Derek Carr.

hes not a top 10 QB but he is on the bottom end of a legit NFL QB and we havent had that since Cousins.

We desperately need a legit top 15 QB.

To hard to win, everything and then some has to align right, for a team with our QBs to win.

Im one that doesnt value him as much as most but I dont think ive really focused on his play. I dvr games so after half the plays I pause it rewind rewatch and usually its to see what our LBs are doing or if our DL ran a stunt or if our corners are on the line or off. Usually why IM not in the GDT, im always 5-20 mins behind the live feed.

Im going to watch Sweat more closely in the run game.

Im team Chase.

I think taking a look at rush DE and analyzing their performance in the run game is probably tough. I really wouldn't know what to look for outside the obvious.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 8

Chase Young 2020 & 2021 seasons

24 games
70 total tackles (solo + assisted)
6 forced fumbles
9 sacks
16 QB hits

Montez Sweat 2020 & 2021 seasons

26 games
69 total tackles (solo + assisted)
5 forced fumbles
14 sacks
33 QB hits

Sweat gets to the QB more. He plays less snaps too - about 68% compared to about 79% for Chase.
