Around the NFL…Week 8

Man, Eagles just keep getting better. Just added DE Robert Quinn from the Bears. Their roster is stacked.

Quinn is actually off to a slow start this season. Hopefully, his current play continues.

Giants get a conditional 3rd rounder and 6th rounder for Kardarius Toney from the Chiefs. Good deal for NY - that’s more than I would have thought. I wonder if they called Odell?

Good move for KC who lacked that deep speed they had with Hill. Good move by Philly too, Quinn had 18 sacks last yr

Being told it's not a "conditional 3".It's actually one of KC's compensatory picks, and in no way would the Giants allow Odell back in a Giants uniform.

Giants now have 11 picks for the draft(for now).

Re: Around the NFL…Week 8

The situation w/ Lamar is tough. How long can he play his style of football before he breaks down? If you take him off the Ravens they are below 500. He does some dumb shit sometimes but he is still a great player. I think if you are Baltimore you simply have to pay him. If you don't pay him you lose your franchise player, a lot of your fans, it goes beyond football. It's business. I like Lamar. He isn't a phony bitch like Wilson turned out to be.

If he hit the open market and signed here it would change the entire direction of this poop franchise.

I expect Toney to be given a good look for returns. Rookie Skyy Moore has had fumble issues with returning punts. Intriguing move really.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 8

That last td for the Ravens was sweet. Typical Jackson scrambling around and making a big play. Brady needs to get going now if Tampa is to come back in this one. Baltimore has been getting pressure on him.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 8

Eagles are definitely loading up. It'll be interesting to see what teams challenge them from the NFC to go to the Super Bowl considering Ram, Bucs, and Packers having down years so far. Minny is off to a good start.
