Pick one of Wayne or Garcon, and let the other go. A case can be made for either, but not both. Wayne does have the U connection though.

Dolphins have the most interesting QB quandry if you ask me.

The owner and fans want Peyton

The HC probably wants Flynn

The OC, Mike Sherman, could put in a vote for Tannehill

All the while, Matt Moore, who led the Fins to a 6-3 finish sits and watches.

I say Washington and Arizona are the only true landing spots maybe Miami but I see Flynn there

At first I asked why he would want to go to Arizona but after seeing that they finished with an 8-8 record with Kolb and Skelator as their QB's well safe to say the pitch writes itself. Then again every year is different.

My question is if we got Peyton could we afford VJax, a gaurd and others? Plus will we still go after RGIII?

As great as Manning is, he does not fit the redskins system. It would take a lot of work for both Shanahan's and Manning to make this work. Also there is the health issue....

Dood, Larry Fitz is still there, waiting for the next QB to make him be a superstar again.

To get Manning to come to your neck of the woods you need to assure him that you'll be putting all your resources into building a winner for the coming year, at the very least. That means all free agents and early draft picks go towards guys that can make an immediate impact. So in terms of getting RG3, no. Heck it's possibly you might not even be able to get Tannehill.

As Smoot alluded to before. Signing Manning could easily mean a Manning-Cousins QB stable.

Bad news fans, the skins aren't going to give enough to get Griffin, Manning doesn't fit the offense, Flynn is not that good, it will be the new "clipboard holder" Tannehil...and some other back-up plan probably Orton. Get ready to draft the short USC qb next year and 5-11 this year.

re: Colts Officially Release Peyton Manning (QB Thread #11)

I can't remember the last time a truly great QB was going to be out on the street waiting for anyone to sign him. Maybe an old Joe Montana? Or Farve I guess. Brees wasn't the player he is now.

I think it comes down to Miami and us. KC and Az is too cheap to pay him. Do the Jets even have the cap room?

Although I just had this thought. We'd troll those covetous Ravens fans sooo hard if we got Manning.

Or you can use RGIII as a "wildcat" guy for immediate impact.

Is that based off a source or is that an opinion?

That's why I'd pass. This has disaster written all over it.
