Wow, Bobby Knight thinks the Terps can make a run to the Final Four...Digger Phelps thinks they can go deep too.

To be fair, they are regular season ACC co-champs.

Maryland is peaking at the right time. At this point I have them as either a 4 or a 5 seed. Pretty sure they don't want that 5-12 match up.

Vasquez is such a little punk. I kind of want to see them fall.

Tebow isn't a punk though. Duke fans and Vasquez are. Vasquez' arrogance is pretty well known. When they were interviewing UMD students about him before the game on ESPN, a few of them were like "we don't care that he's so cocky." lol.

Lunardi has them as a 5 going against UConn in a very favorable West (Top 4: K-State, New Mexico, West Virginia, Michigan State). An ACC Tourney final or win could see them as high as a 3.

Ha, yeah, I went to see the Os and Yanks at Camden Yards...there were entire families of Red Sox-dressed fans that brought giant cardboard syringes (Giambi still on Yanks then) to yell at the NY players. I think there may have been more Boston "fans" there than Orioles fans...and their team wasn't even playing! They were also the most vulgar and embarrassing fans I've ever seen, right there with their children.

I saw a lot of Bostonians at the Orioles and White Sox game I went to also.

Vasquez got ACC player of the year, and Williams got ACC coach of the year. ESPN also ranked the UMD vs. Duke game as NCAA game of the year.

All were well-deserved.

Yeah, I know. When I was in school at Maryland I saw a shirt saying that. I just thought it was clever...
